The cycle of reincarnation is governed by the heavy weight of . If you wish to break through these cycles and truly transform karma, you must be willing to exert significant effort and develop your skills in practice.

The Foundation of Change

Changing your ways is the primary step in this journey. If you find it difficult to change your ways—especially your personality traits—how can you expect to transform your karma? Without this fundamental change, you will simply continue to drift along in the cycle of reincarnation, following the currents of your own past actions. To truly change, you must first cultivate a heart of repenting.

If you face your or the spirits you have invited with a hard, indifferent, or arrogant attitude, you are not demonstrating the sincerity required for change. How can you expect to find an opportunity for transformation if your heart remains closed by arrogance? You must approach every interaction with humility and a genuine desire to rectify your past mistakes.

Cultivating Awareness in Daily Life

You must develop a keen sense of awareness to catch yourself when you fall into negative patterns. When you notice these tendencies, you must immediately shift your focus and take action:

  • When you feel lazy: Awaken your awareness, shift to diligent practice, and take immediate action.
  • When you feel arrogance: Awaken your awareness, and shift to humility and respect in your interactions with others.
  • When your tone is rude or disrespectful: Awaken your awareness, shift to a polite and respectful tone and behaviour; you must also apologise for your rudeness to restore harmony.
  • When anger arises: Awaken your awareness, immediately extinguish the fire, and do not let the flames spread to harm yourself or others.
  • When you feel scattered or unfocused: Awaken your awareness, gather your concentration, and do not let time pass in vain.
  • When you feel fear or anxiety: Awaken your awareness, recall the infinite and mercy of , believe in Amitabha Buddha, chant the Buddha's name, and chant again, preventing these low vibrations from invading your entire being.

The Straightforward Path to Liberation

As long as you can take this step and advance straightforwardly, keeping your chanting of the Buddha's name continuous, you will be able to adjust your heart and transform your actions. This is the path to true liberation. When your practice is consistent and your heart is aligned with the Truth, the time for your karmic transformation will surely arrive.
