If you offer ten parts of sincerity and respect, you will receive ten parts of benefits of the Dharma. Without sincerity and respect, your heart remains clouded by attachments, and you will be unable to receive the true benefits of the Dharma. What, then, is sincerity? This is the vibrant, harmonious, and flexible nature of the Dharma. The preciousness of sincerity originates from the heart; within a sincere heart, you will naturally find the presence of respect and pure. Sincerity is not something that can be bought with wealth or material possessions; it is a quality that arises naturally from within your own heart.
