The Boundless Nature of Oneness

What is the true meaning of Oneness? It is a state where the distinction between 'you' and 'me' ceases to exist. This profound reality can only be understood through the cultivation of a compassionate mind-capacity. When your heart expands to embrace all beings, you begin to perceive that the emptiness within your true self is the same emptiness that resides in all things. This boundless, empty form is vast enough to contain the entire universe and all the phenomena within it.

The Unity of All Things

Within this state of realisation, the empty form is me, and the very essence of nothingness is also me. All things that exist in the ten directions are not separate from me; they are not 'another.' When you understand that and the other are one, you will naturally perceive the coming and going of all beings. You will clearly and distinctly understand the thoughts and intentions of others, for their minds are not separate from your own.

The Harmony of Body and Spirit

Any sensation you experience is not truly 'you,' and any feeling that arises belongs to the collective of sentient beings. Though these sensations and are not the self, you remain clearly aware of them, experiencing them without any sense of separation or distance. When -beings and the spirit work together to cultivate purity, the body and spirit become one. In this state of unity, the true self is finally revealed in its full brilliance.

Returning to the Source

The physical world—wishing to be as free as the wind, mountains & rivers is my own body. Heaven, earth, and all things that flourish within them are my own heart. When you look upon the world with this clarity, you will see that there is no need to ask who is who. We are all originally one, resting together in a state of perfect, tranquil peace. May all practitioners strive to realise this truth, letting go of the illusions of separation to return to the source of our original nature.

This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe, acting as chief writer.
