After the fulfilled his Forty-eight Great Vows, the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss was established in accordance with his profound aspirations. From that moment, the sacred name of began to be propagated throughout the vastness of the Realm. Across the infinite worlds of the ten directions, countless Buddhas have joined together to praise and proclaim the name of Namo Amituofo. For the past ten kalpas, this sacred name has echoed through the cosmos, guiding countless beings to leave suffering behind and find happiness through rebirth in the Western Pure Land.
The act of chanting the six-character name of Namo Amituofo is a practice that every practitioner can undertake. It is a simple yet infinitely powerful method to connect with the Buddha's . When you chant the Buddha-name, you should do so with a sincere, pure, and undistracted heart. Whether you chant aloud or silently in your mind, the key is to ensure that every single syllable is clear, entering deeply into your heart and resonating within your ears.
By doing so, you create a ripple effect of light and sound that can be passed from one person to another, ensuring that all beings have the precious opportunity to hear the name of Namo Amituofo. When the name of the Buddha enters the ear, it acts as a of . Once this seed is planted, it remains within the forever, serving as an indestructible foundation for future liberation. Regardless of how much time passes or how many aeons one may wander through the cycle of reincarnated, this seed ensures that every being will eventually have the opportunity to be saved and enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
In our current world, there are countless practitioners who are chanting the Buddha-name and making the vow to seek rebirth in the Western Pure Land. Their hearts are turned towards Namo Amituofo, longing to be free from the cycle of reincarnated and to dwell in the eternal happiness of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. At this very moment, Namo Amituofo is truly present at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. It is the sincere hope of the Buddha that all beings will enter this temple, fulfil their wishes to leave suffering behind, and firmly resolve to chant the Buddha-name and attain rebirth in the Western Pure Land.
