The Sacred Transmission of the Dharma
Teachings from Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju
Recorded and transcribed by Namo Amituofo’s disciple, Venerable Fa Hui.
The essence of transmitting the lies in the continuous, compassionate passing down of the Buddha’s teachings from one generation to the next. Since ancient times, the Three Jewels—the Buddha, the Teachings, and the Sangha Community—have carried the solemn responsibility of propagating the Dharma and ensuring that the wisdom of the Buddha remains accessible to all sentient beings.
A Sanctuary for -Mind-Spirit
The temple and the Three Jewels serve as the ultimate refuge for our Body-Mind-Spirit. In a world filled with turbulence and suffering, the temple offers a space of profound serenity and harmony. It is a place where those who are weary, lost, or suffering can find a moment of stillness, allowing them to set down their burdens and find natural relief. The temple provides an environment dedicated to educating the public on the profound wisdom of the Buddha’s teachings, helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of the Dharma, providing answers to the complex questions that plague our body, mind, and spirit, and offering a path to release the suffering caused by the inevitable pains of ageing and illness.

However, we are fortunate that the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is protected by those capable of subduing such forces—Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. Their presence provides the necessary support for all who are sincere in their practice, helping those who wish to rediscover their true self to do so as quickly as possible.
The Path to Liberation
In the present moment, there is no past and no future; there is only the practice of chanting one Buddha's name to the end.
