On the ninth of February, 2025, during the first session of the , Teacher Xia Lianju offered these profound teachings.
At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Queensland, Australia, we are currently experiencing the arrival of the Three . This is because the Teaching Master of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, Namo Amituofo, truly abides here.
The First Blessing: Purification and the Path to
The first blessing is bestowed upon the fourfold assembly of disciples who practise within this sacred Buddha-land. Because Namo Amituofo is present, these disciples are bathed in the radiance of the Buddha’s light. This light works to extinguish their accumulated defilements and nourish their good roots. Furthermore, the disciples are blessed with the opportunity to:
Listen directly to the words of Namo Amituofo.
Receive the compassionate teachings of their teachers.
Hear the profound and insightful talks delivered by Practitioner Su.
Through the resonance of the Dharma, their body, heart, and spirit are purified, leading to moments of deep realisation. By following the guidance of the Buddha, they are granted the precious opportunity to break through delusion, attain , and realise their true nature and attain Buddhahood.
The Second Blessing: Universal Deliverance for All Beings
The second blessing extends to the spirits arriving from all directions. Whether they come from this world or other realms, whether they belong to the six realms of existence, the four holy states, or are earthly creatures—and even including the demon crowds—all who attend the Thrice Yearning Ceremony are touched by this grace. Because Namo Amituofo himself leads the ceremony, every being present has the opportunity to receive . They may be guided by Namo Amituofo to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, or, depending on their individual blessings, find rebirth in the heavenly or human realms. This is a matter of the utmost importance for all suffering beings.
The Third Blessing: Cultivating the Provisions for Rebirth
The third blessing arises because Namo Amituofo truly abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Here, the fourfold assembly of disciples engages in the essential work of changing their personality traits, serving the community, listening to the sutras, and participating in Dharma assemblies. This sacred environment becomes a place where the fourfold assembly can continuously grow their good roots, blessings, and virtues, and strengthen their Causal Conditions. Consequently, they are able to fully accumulate the provisions necessary for their journey, ensuring they have the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
The Clarity of Cause and Effect in the Buddha-land
These three blessings are profound, and I urge the fourfold assembly and all beings to grasp this opportunity while it is here. You must understand the nature of this Buddha-land. Everything you do at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is recorded with absolute clarity:
If your actions are rooted in Goodness, every small measure of your blessings and merits will be preserved and multiplied.
If your actions are rooted in negativity, this too is seen with perfect clarity, and the corresponding karmic consequences must be borne.
Such is the reality of this temple, where the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way govern all things. Namo Amituofo.
