The Vastness of the World and the Search for Refuge
The world we inhabit is vast and often feels desolate. We find ourselves adrift in a sea of right and wrong, gratitude and resentment, all bound by the heavy weight of karmic debts. We must ask ourselves: how are we to navigate this life? Where can we find a true refuge that will not crumble? We possess an urgent heart to hear the , hoping only to find a lasting peace of mind. We often think we have found the right path, yet we remain confused and clouded. We search within our own hearts for answers, but we find no resolution to our inner turmoil.
Finding the Fragrant Light in the Human World
Many practitioners find that the Buddha-name is difficult to truly hold within their hearts. However, we have finally found the Fragrant Light—the of Ultimate Bliss manifested here in the human world at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Here, Practitioner Su teaches the Dharma within the Dharma. Through his deep meditative state, he is able to resolve the myriad difficulties that plague our lives, walking alongside the Buddha to guide us home.
The Power of the Buddha's Guidance
The guidance provided by the Buddha and the masters acts as a beacon, breaking through the thick clouds of doubt and the various obstacles that hinder our progress. Through this practice, we can:
- Resolve the conflicts that have followed us for lifetimes.
- Perform to liberate our , helping them leave suffering behind.
- Purify our own minds so that the Buddha-name can take root.
When we approach this path with faith and without a shred of doubt, we are supported by both our own sincere effort and the infinite power of the Buddha. This dual strength carries us forward, keeping us firm on the path to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Walking the Path to Ultimate Bliss
Every step we take becomes a practice of the Buddha-vows. By aligning our actions with these vows, we will eventually attain the brilliant lotus light and ultimately achieve the Buddha's path. Do not let this opportunity pass you by; cherish the time you have to practise and remain steadfast in your devotion. This teaching was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
