Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:
The verdant grasslands are a symbol of hope,
bringing forth the appearance of life's extension and continuity amidst the greenery, promising a period of flourishing prosperity.
Amidst the natural alternation of seasons,
the verdant green is the vibrant colour displayed by the grass during spring and summer,
seeing the spring snow after the cold winter is a scene of rebirth for the next cycle of life.
The changes in the seasons are also a sign of the smooth operation of the universal principle.
There are countless sentient beings in the verdant grasslands, all connected by karmic affinity.
When the fourfold assembly walks through,
they should immediately and at any time chant the Buddha-name to help the beings open up space,
if the beings chant the Buddha-name, the space will open and they will be saved,
one should save as many as one can.
The green land of Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre is more filled with greenery than land elsewhere.
Besides being illuminated by the sun and moon, the creatures can hear the Buddha-name, receive the Buddha-light, and be saved through at any time,
thus allowing batch after batch of grass-dwelling beings, flowers, trees, insects, ants,
crawling and flying creatures, birds, insects, and so on, to be sent away,
enabling their defilements to be extinguished and Goodness to arise, restoring them to their original human form.
Each being joyfully departs from the space and enters into the light, receiving Chao Du,
this is the blessing of the sentient beings in the grasslands of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.
Therefore, the verdant grasslands are like a symbol of the prairie,
even if the winter cold turns it into withered land, the roots are covered and protected within the soil,
when the spring warmth arrives and the spring breeze blows, the green land grows again, thus continuing life endlessly.

Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju: Innate ability is the body's natural capability that every being possesses. It can be manifested through purification. By chanting one Buddha's name to the end, we can exercise these abilities to save all suffering beings, including those within our bodi
