Amitabha Buddha's discourse:
"Transformation" here refers to the changes in Body-Mind-Spirit attained through practice,
not merely a change in , mind, or spirit alone, but an opportunity to see one's true nature!
Transformation for a practitioner is visible and expected,
in the process of removing defilements and attaining purity, which is the process of transformation.
Whenever one changes personality traits or habits, becomes more diligent in dissolving , or succeeds in meditative concentration through chanting Buddha's name, and changes occur, one can naturally see positive shifts in physical appearance, conduct, and Body, Speech, and Mind.
The achievement of practice cannot be attained overnight.
For those with superior potential, there is an opportunity for sudden .
For such individuals, the purity and defilement can, in the moment of diligent practice, turn from defiled to pure,
or through further purification, achieve total enlightenment.
This manifestation of transformation is often shown by Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, or patriarchs and venerable masters,
teaching people in the world to see their true nature through active and persistent practice within their limited lives.
If there are things seen or heard that are difficult to see or hear, or have never been seen or heard,
it is a manifestation of natural ability, used for saving the world and beings,
and for the propagation of Buddha’s teachings. It can manifest its natural state and also have magnificent uses,
and all of this does not depart from the original intention of saving beings and helping them leave suffering and gain happiness. It flows naturally with the ,
does not depart from the universal principle, Truth, and the righteous path,
and manifests the transformation from an ordinary person to a sage.
In this age of the Dharma’s decline, beings have heavy spiritual obstacles.
Ordinary people observe the situation of others by looking at external appearances and the actions of Body, Speech, and Mind,
often influenced by subjective views and of the other person,
losing objectivity, and finding it difficult to see their inner nature and the state of their heart and spirit.
Those who have attained realisation through purification and have become awakened beings, practise purity in one place,
making their body and mind purer and more filled with Goodness, helping the purification and elevation of their spirit.
And this observation of a person’s potential,
performed by Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, patriarchs and venerable masters, those who have realised their true nature, or teachers,
has its own subtlety.
Most practitioners,
step by step, move forward within every recitation of
"Namo Amituofo",
down-to-earth, practising and verifying the truth. These are steady practitioners who,
following the teachings of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, patriarchs and venerable masters, and teachers,
see transformation in every step of progress, and gain the opportunity to see their true nature!
