As a practitioner advances on the path, the purification of leads to an increase in spiritual sensitivity. One becomes capable of reacting swiftly to changes in the environment and perceiving the world with far greater depth and clarity. Those whose eyes have been opened to the true nature of reality see far beyond what the physical eyes can perceive. When this insight is combined with the work of a master such as Practitioner Su—who possesses both the opened eye and the capable of performing within the Realm—the knowledge and visions revealed become a living treasure for all.
The fourfold assembly of disciples should cherish this opportunity. How often in this lifetime can one encounter a teacher as profound as Practitioner Su? Under the guidance of Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su, the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre has illuminated many truths that were previously hidden from our view.
The human body is a complex vessel that can be governed by different forces. It may be controlled by your true self, or it may be usurped by , attached spirits, or demon crowds. We must observe the progression of the laws of and cause and effect with great care.
The intrusion of external demon crowds often stems from changes beyond the immediate scope of our known karmic debts. These entities frequently drive the body to commit further wrongdoings, which hinders the progress of one's practice and accelerates the body's decline through aging, sickness, and death. One must be extremely cautious. This precious human body should be used to find the eternal truth, not to be exploited by demon crowds, which renders it unable to fulfil its true purpose.
If the true self is not in charge, the following influences easily take hold:
When these take root, they attract negative karma, allowing karmic creditors, attached spirits, and demon crowds to emerge and replace the true self as the master of the body. The body then becomes a mere tool for the progression of negative karma, leading the body-mind-spirit to suffer the inevitable decay of aging, sickness, and death.
Through years of performing Chao Du and engaging in dialogues with these entities at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, we have come to understand why they become demons. We have learned of the existence of old and ancient demons who hide themselves in deep meditative concentration to escape the laws of karma, the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, hoping to remain undiscovered.
For many years, these demon crowds have cast spells to attack the body of Practitioner Su. Yet, through the boundless compassion of Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su, these beings are guided into the Western Land of Dharma Nature, where they are finally given the opportunity to repent and turn towards goodness.
Our concept of space is usually limited to what our physical eyes can see. However, for the practitioner who has undergone purification, the Six Roots—particularly the eyes and ears—can break through these physical limitations. One can then perceive the true state of space, seeing not only the conditions within the six realms of rebirth but also the circumstances in other regions of the Dharma Realm.
We have come to realise that within space, there are further dimensions, and within those dimensions, there are countless beings in need of salvation. These beings suffer immensely. If the space they are trapped in is not opened, they remain hidden for countless eons, unable to find a way out.
These are but a few of the truths recognised by Practitioner Su and the fourfold assembly of disciples at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Upon understanding these realities, the fourfold assembly should harbour a heart of deep gratitude and strengthen their faith in the Buddha. Without the Buddha's , it would be impossible to uncover these truths. Once you have recognised the reality of your situation, you must diligently seek to rediscover your true self. Understand clearly the suffering inherent in the cycle of rebirth and do not allow yourself to enter it again. Let this life be your final one, and let the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss be the true home of your spirit.
