The world is filled with suffering, and we are bound by endless afflictions. We cannot escape the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death, nor can we avoid the five evils, the five pains, and the five burnings that plague our existence. How many people have the precious opportunity to learn the Buddha's teachings, to hear the profound of the , and to draw near to ? How many have the chance to not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die, ultimately achieving rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss?
