Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:
A heart without resentment or regret is one that gives proactively without seeking reward or price.
To be without resentment or regret can apply to anyone.
For any Buddha or , their vow towards every being is to wish for all to leave suffering behind.
This does not limit itself to humans, but includes beings of the nine Realms.
Regardless of where they come from or which realm they belong to, they save and teach them without resentment or regret.
It is only due to different Causal Conditions that beings may or may not be willing to accept the teachings and offerings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
At the place where Namo Amituofo abides—Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia—I also watch over the fourfold assembly here.
There is another who gives without resentment or regret:
Practitioner Su, who stays at the temple 24/7, never leaving except to purchase necessary items for the temple before returning immediately.
Wherever Practitioner Su goes, the Buddha’s light shines upon that place.
Ordinary people’s physical eyes cannot see this, but spirit realm beings see it clearly.
Some spirit realm beings recognise: "This is Practitioner Su, who teaches us to recite Namo Amituofo."
Some beings do not yet recognise this, but upon seeing the light on his body, they know this person is extraordinary, for ordinary people do not possess such radiance.
Beings in the ghost realm usually avoid light,
because such light can be harmful to spirits.
However, the light emitted from Practitioner Su not only causes no harm to any being,
but allows beings to feel filled with Dharma upon seeing it.
Although they cannot get close—because he is surrounded by many Dharma protectors—
they can feel the energy within the light and are also very joyful.
Therefore, wherever Practitioner Su goes, beings can be saved.
Those who see the Buddha-light first have their resentment and gloominess eliminated,
and thus become willing to follow.
Afterwards, they enter Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, see the radiance here, and stay in this place,
certain to enter the Buddha-light or receive during a Dharma assembly.
