Words of the Buddha: Flowing from the True Nature
Teachings from Namo Amituofo
Teachings from Namo Amituofo, recorded and transcribed by Namo Amituofo’s disciple, Venerable HaiZe.

All beings possess the true nature. Although there are countless beings, it is difficult for them to see their true nature today because they have become lost in the delusions of their own minds. I ask the fourfold assembly of disciples: do you know where your true nature resides at this very moment?
The Veil of
The life of your true nature is without beginning or end; it is neither born nor destroyed. However, the moment your consciousness begins to stir and act, your true nature becomes obscured. Your consciousness and your original nature are two sides of the same coin. The extent to which your consciousness is purified is exactly the extent to which your original nature is revealed. When your consciousness is fully purified, your original nature will manifest in its entirety.
This is the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. It remains constant regardless of time or space. You may ask, where does this consciousness reside? It is found within the five aggregates of , , , and consciousness. It is found in the interaction between and , and within the of greed, anger, ignorance, arrogance, and doubt, as well as the of wealth, lust, fame, food, and sleep.
It is also hidden within our delusions, discriminations, and attachments, as well as the eight consciousnesses and the fifty-one mental factors. If you can let go of all these things, you will reach the moment when impurities are removed, the true nature is revealed, and you see your true self.
The Source of Infinite Wisdom
From this true nature, a continuous stream of the Buddha’s words flows forth. These teachings are provided to adapt to the changing hearts of beings and the shifting environments of the world. They are meant to resolve the confusion of the masses and bring peace to their hearts. Most importantly, these teachings allow beings to understand their current situation, how to counteract their afflictions, and how to find their way back to their true nature.
Once you have realised your true nature, you will naturally possess the ability to see the truth of reality and understand the root of every problem. This wisdom allows you to resolve the confusion of others and bring stability to their minds.
The Creation of the
Consider the journey of Namo Amituofo. When He was the monk , He witnessed the immense suffering of all beings. With the assistance of Lokesvararaja Buddha, He observed the conditions of beings across two hundred and ten billion Buddha-lands, noting the purity and impurity, the strengths and the weaknesses of each realm. Through His practice, He established the Forty-eight Great Vows. Upon the fulfilment of these vows, He attained Buddhahood and established the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Therefore, the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is a Buddha-land established by the power of the vows flowing from the true nature of Namo Amituofo. This Buddha-land is a world of Infinite Life and Infinite Light, existing eternally. In contrast, our Earth in the worldly realm is a physical realm formed by matter, subject to the phenomena of formation, abiding, decay, and emptiness.
The -Nature Land in Australia
At this time, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, the Dharma-Nature Land established by Practitioner Su—who has realised his true nature—is also a Buddha-land. This land is directly connected to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Every being who enters this Dharma-Nature Land becomes an object of salvation for Practitioner Su. Because they listen to his lectures, they come to know Namo Amituofo and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Under the pervasive illumination of the Buddha-light, if a being sincerely makes a vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, the lotus seat upon which they sit will naturally open, allowing them to enter the Western Pure Land. This is the magnificent and unique quality of the Dharma-Nature Land.
I urge the fourfold assembly of disciples to practise diligently. Develop your , vow to see your true nature, attain Buddhahood, and save all beings. Once you have realised your true nature, the power of your vows will naturally flow from within, allowing you to build your own Buddha-land. This is the concrete action of saving yourself and helping all beings to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
