Discourse by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:

When the human heart is in darkness, lost and not knowing where to turn,

it needs a bright lamp in the darkness to guide it towards the light; this is the way out.

Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, where Namo Amituofo resides,

is that ray of hope in the darkness.

In the dark space of the Dharma realm, one can see the distant Earth radiating a light,

the source of which is located at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia.

This light is the Buddha-light emitted by Namo Amituofo, who resides here.

Because the power of the merit from the Forty-eight Great Vows made by Namo Amituofo during his causal practice is immeasurable,

when his vows and practices were perfected and he attained Buddhahood, his "light shines universally upon immeasurable, boundless, and countless Buddha-lands."

This Buddha-light shines without boundaries and is "thousands of billions of times brighter than the sun and moon."

For this reason, Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is bathed in Buddha-light,

and the spirit realm beings and people here are often under the illumination of this Buddha-light.

Spirit realm beings can see this situation; while people cannot see it with their physical eyes,

they can feel the pure and bright magnetic field.

This is because they receive the grace of the Buddha and are under the illumination of the light.

At the same time, on the day of the Thrice Yearning Ceremonies,

under the blessing of Namo Amituofo, Practitioner Su’s countless manifestations are able to enter the Dharma realm, the universe,

the Milky Way, and other places to deliver sentient beings and demon crowds.

The Buddha-light of Namo Amituofo and the light from the bodies of his countless manifestations bring a radiance to the Dharma realm.

In every session, there are immeasurable and boundless spirit beings coming to seek Chao Du, as well as countless demon crowds,

including ancient demons and old demons from the Dharma realm, the universe, and other places, coming to seek surrender,

to surrender under the throne of Namo Amituofo and be sent into the bright Dharma-Nature Land of the Western Land.

This has been happening for many years.

Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, through the teachings of Namo Amituofo, the teachings of Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju,

and the precious Buddha’s teachings received through Practitioner Su’s more than thirty years of experience in learning the Buddha’s teachings and becoming an awakened being,

has gained a deep understanding, especially regarding the spirit realms.

This is a subject rarely discussed in traditional Buddha’s teachings, yet it is an important reason why in the age of the Dharma’s decline,

there are "many who chant the Buddha’s name, but few who achieve rebirth in the Western Pure Land."

This is because people overlook the existence of spirits and the interference of karmic creditors,

which is often a major obstacle to rebirth in the Western Pure Land when chanting the Buddha’s name at the end of life.

All of the above can be learned through the Buddhist education at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre; it is also the light of the Dharma realm,

opening a bright path for people and sentient beings in the Dharma realm to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

And because Namo Amituofo resides here, he can lead those who chant the Buddha’s name to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

This is inconceivable! I hope that all who hear and see this will have faith in it, and you will surely gain benefits.
