On this day, August 3, 2025, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju offers these words of guidance to the fourfold assembly of disciples. You must ask yourselves: what is it that you should be deeply vigilant about? As the years pass, how much have you truly grown? It is time to pause and reflect upon your journey:
If you can answer these questions with a sincere "yes," then you must continue your diligent practice without hesitation. However, if your answer is "no," you must immediately reflect upon your own conduct. You must be deeply vigilant! If you find that you have strayed from the right path, you must change your ways quickly. The further you wander, the more difficult it becomes to turn back. Yet, even if it feels difficult, please turn back immediately. It is always better to return to the right path than to continue drifting away.
Life is exceptionally precious. You have entered the path while living in this world, and you have been fortunate enough to encounter Namo Amituofo, the teachings of your Teacher, and Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This is a place where the Three Jewels are truly present. Such an encounter is difficult to encounter in millions of years; it is a magnificent and rare opportunity. Do not let your life pass by in vain.
Throughout the twenty-four hours of the day, you must hold firmly to the sacred name of Namo Amituofo. Chant continuously and without interruption. This is the only way to ensure that your life is not wasted. By keeping the Buddha-name in your heart at all times, you are ensuring that your every moment is filled with the light of the .

Every item mentioned here is an area where you must put in the work. These are the very points that have been emphasised to you time and again; do not take them lightly! You must subdue your delusion, discrimination, and attachment. Do not let your life be governed by your alone.
Do not live your days trapped within the cycle of , , , and Consciousness. Instead, you should live your life in a state of selflessness and , chanting Namo Amituofo all the way to the end. You must grow through diligent purification rather than spending your days in impurity and violation of the Precepts.
You must protect your and your wisdom-life, rather than causing them harm. You must ensure that your body, heart, and spirit are purified and bright, rather than allowing them to suffer. I hope that the fourfold assembly of disciples will take these words to heart and be deeply vigilant. May you achieve success in your Buddha-recitation, may your concentration and wisdom manifest, and may you soon become an awakened being.
