A Dialogue with the Infinite Void
Words from the Heart of Namo Amituofo
Recorded and transcribed by Namo Amituofo’s disciple, Venerable HaiZe.

Namo Amituofo’s discourse:
I once asked the Void, "How vast is the Void?"
The Void replied, "The Void is as vast as your heart. If your heart is infinitely large, the Void is infinitely large. If your heart is small, the Void is small."
The Mirror of the Infinite Mind
I then asked the Void, "Does the Void encompass this heart, or does this heart encompass the Void?"
The Void answered, "The heart and the Void are one. The Void encompasses this heart, and this heart also encompasses the Void."
I asked again, "How old is the Void?"
The Void replied, "My life is endless. It arises from the beginningless, and within this beginningless state, there is no end. Within the Void, there is more Void; the Void encompasses the infinite."
The Wisdom of Universal Acceptance
I asked the Void, "In this life of endless duration, is there anything you would like to share with everyone?"
The Void answered, "To encompass all things is to never suffer a loss. I never refuse any planet that appears within the Void, whether it radiates the energy of Goodness or the energy of evil. Regardless of the species, the dust, or the particles, even the wars and attacks they incite against one another—containing both suffering and pain, as well as beauty and —I do not hold any of these within my heart. I simply allow them to develop and change naturally. To silently endure is the best way to face all things. I continue to follow the natural path, letting things be as they are. I do not add anything, nor do I take anything away. This is best for everyone. Because of this, the Void has existed from the beginningless past, and it will continue into the endless future."
The Interconnected Web of All Worlds
The Void continued, "In truth, planets and star systems influence one another. This includes the energy and magnetic fields of good and evil, positive and negative, strength and weakness. There is no phenomenon that remains eternally unchanged. Some changes occur very slowly, so slowly that they are almost imperceptible. Other changes happen very quickly, occurring in a single instant before one can even react. Yet, whether the change is fast or slow, discovered or undiscovered, positive changes benefit everyone, while negative changes cause interference for all."
The Constant Changes of the World
In reality, the entire Void is subject to the constant changes of the world. Because our essence is one, there is a phenomenon of shared survival or shared destruction, though it may not always be obvious. Some planets that maintain a field of Goodness emit a calm and gentle light, while others that are fierce and intense emit dark and turbid colours. Although these planets appear independent, they are actually influencing one another, whether that influence is light or heavy. All of this is governed by the power of nature.
I offer my deepest gratitude to the Void.
