This is a record of an interview with Zhang Yuqing, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his spiritual journey and his reunion with the Buddha's light. Recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on January 30, 2026.

Lay Practitioner Zhang Yuqing speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Greetings to everyone! I am deeply grateful to Namo Amituofo and to Practitioner Su. I am Zhang Yuqing, the one whom Practitioner Su guided from a world of grey shadows into the Western Land of Nature. Now, I have successfully arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss."

A Life Transformed by Light

"In terms of the weeks as we measure them in the human world, I have been living a life on the Western Land of Dharma Nature that I have never experienced before. I call it a 'good life' because it is truly so warm here. The light is infinite, and the Buddha is always shining upon us with such . It makes me feel incredibly at peace, with a sense of stability in my heart that I have never felt before. To be honest, during the days after I left the human world, I lived in a state of confusion—sometimes awake, sometimes not. That world was always dark. I didn't even know if I was a ghost or what I was; I only knew that my was unclear."

The Miracle of Deliverance

"When I first arrived in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I wasn't quite used to the light. It was so beautiful that I kept doubting whether I was truly alive. I was so worried that this was just a dream that would soon fade away. But as I watched Practitioner Su giving Dharma talks with such compassion, I gradually understood. I realised that there is a Practitioner Su in the human world who brought me here. I realised that it was my wife who performed the Chao Du for me, which gave me the opportunity to be reborn in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, and eventually, the chance to arrive here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, happy and complete. This is the true Buddha-land established by Namo Amituofo, and it has existed for a very, very long time. Compared to the Western Land of Dharma Nature, this place is even brighter and more beautiful. Everything here is simply inconceivable!"

Seeing the Threads of

"Moreover, I was able to witness a vast and grand scene: all the experiences of my many lives suddenly became clear to me. In an instant, everything I had ever gone through had a context of causes and consequences. Suddenly, my eyes were incredibly bright, and I saw that I had actually been reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss once before, and later, I had made a great vow to go to the human world to save people. After arriving in the human world, at first, I was indeed very active in propagating the Dharma, just as I had intended before descending. But later, after several cycles of reincarnation, I was gradually covered over by the worldly and . At that time, I no longer possessed the pure heart I had when I first descended. I became interested in everything in the world—wealth, lust, fame, food, and sleep."

A Message to My Family

"So, you see, after one fall, how long must I reincarnate? This is why I want to follow Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su closely. I want to tell my family: you are so fortunate! My wife, I see that she is learning the Buddha's teachings and practising with Namo Amituofo. It has not been easy for her over these years, and I am deeply grateful to her. Of course, I can also see her past; she was once a practitioner of the Buddha's teachings and was also reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss before. We share a good karmic connection—we were fellow practitioners of the Dharma in a past life, though neither of us achieved rebirth in that lifetime. Then, we had the karmic connection in this life, allowing her to return to the seat of Namo Amituofo and perform the Chao Du for me after I passed away. All of this is governed by the laws of karma and cause and effect; it is truly inconceivable!"

The Urgency of Rebirth

"Finally, I want to say to my wife and family in the human world: you must seize this opportunity! You must achieve rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss in this one lifetime. Please, do not reincarnate again! I am watching the people in the human world from here, and very few of them go to a good place after they die. Even if they go to a so-called 'good place,' once their time is up, they will fall again. This whole process of reincarnation is truly too painful."

"Remember my words! Namo Amituofo!"

"Namo Amituofo."
