This is a record of an interview with Chen Linying, the mother of Lay Practitioner Huang Rongzhang, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. She now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This interview was recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on March 6, 2026.

Lay Practitioner Chen Linying speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Oh, heavens! In this very instant, my spirit has arrived at a place even more magnificent than where I was before! This transformation is truly, absolutely breathtaking. I never imagined that after passing away, I would have the opportunity to experience such a series of inconceivable events. It is entirely due to the incredible skills of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su that we have been granted the chance to reach this world—the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I, Chen Linying, am so deeply moved. I have been continuously saying to the Buddha, 'Gratitude, gratitude, and gratitude again!'"

From the Darkness of the Spirit Realm

"The reason I say I have arrived at such a beautiful world again is because I experienced a similar transition not long ago, and that moment was truly earth-shattering. I was originally a spirit, living a life of darkness. I was a spirit without too many afflictions, and I was not a greedy spirit, but I often felt a sense of helplessness, wondering why I could not reach a place that was a little brighter.

Later, after many years of longing, a brilliant light finally shone from the top of my head. I knew that something wonderful was happening, so I followed that light and arrived at a place called the . That place was far more beautiful than where I had been before! It was not just bright; there was a warm, gentle Buddha-light constantly shining upon me. The anxiety in my heart was swept away in an instant, and I no longer felt the need to dwell on or calculate the grievances of my past life. I had originally hoped to be reborn as a human again; if given the chance, I would have returned to the human world to be a good person. But I never expected that I would have the to reach the Western -Nature Land, and today, Practitioner Su has brought us all the way to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss! This experience is simply too magnificent for words!"

A Mother's Message to Her Son

"My dear child, I am so profoundly grateful to you for performing the Chao Du for your father and me. Although it has been many years since we passed away, it is truly rare and precious that you are still able to encounter the Buddha’s teachings at your age! This is the greatest blessing for our family, and it is the most fortunate thing you have ever done in your life. You must cherish this opportunity with all your heart! If you miss this chance, there will not be another, because a human body is not easily obtained, and now that you have it, you have the opportunity to understand the true Buddha’s teachings.

The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, which you have come to know, is a true Pure Land in the human world. Namo Amituofo is here, personally teaching people how to awaken, how to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and how to truly transcend the cycle of birth and death and escape the three realms of samsara."

A New Path of Learning

"Mother now wants to learn the spirit of the Buddha. That means letting go of everything—only keeping the Buddha in my heart, and knowing that the well-being of all beings comes first. Beyond that, there is nothing else to worry about. I will simply study here with peace of mind. If I cultivate well enough one day, I will be able to return to the human world to help more people understand the Buddha’s teachings. This is Mother’s heartfelt wish.

As for my good child, Rongzhang, Mother will not worry about you. You must also follow closely in the footsteps of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Change your personality, learn to let go of everything, and remember that you must walk the path of rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. That is all that matters.

Mother will not say much more now. I must draw close to Namo Amituofo and go to learn from the Buddha. Namo Amituofo."
