This is a record of an interview with Lay Practitioner Zhao Yangang, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his transition after passing away. It was recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on January 9, 2026.

Zhao Yangang speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Zhao Yangang. I have arrived in the magnificent and beautiful Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. I never imagined that such a wonderful place existed in the universe. Had I known about it earlier, I would have certainly wanted to 'immigrate' here long ago! I am incredibly fortunate that, thanks to the performed by my family, I was able to reach this glorious destination. I find myself kneeling in deep gratitude before the Greatly Compassionate Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. I am so thankful for all the good causal conditions that have allowed me, after my passing, to not only avoid suffering but to arrive in such a perfect, blissful realm."

The Wonton Noodle Analogy

"When I was alive in the human world, I had a great fondness for wonton noodles. I often thought that life itself was much like a bowl of noodles. There are so many factors that determine whether a bowl is truly delicious—beyond the quality of the noodles themselves, the seasoning must be perfectly balanced. But the most difficult part, I realised, is that the person eating the noodles must have a calm and peaceful heart. Now that I am here in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I can have any kind of wonton noodle I desire. Yet, the most miraculous thing happens: the moment I see the appearance of these noodles and catch their fragrant aroma, the desire to eat them simply vanishes. I find I no longer have any need for them at all."

True Peace and Perfect

"This place is truly an exceptionally beautiful world. Here, my heart is completely at peace. Every single day, I find myself smiling with genuine . I have finally achieved true inner calm and peace of mind. I know that this is due to the unique nature of the Western Pure Land and the powerful blessings of Namo Amituofo, which have enabled me to reach this state. It is truly hard to believe that I could have such immense blessings to arrive in such a perfect world."

A Message to My Family

"I want to tell my family that whatever happened in the past is no longer important. The karmic connection we shared in the human world has reached its conclusion through the Chao Du you performed for me at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. The fact that you successfully sent me to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is the perfect ending to our story. This is truly meaningful, and it is something that should make us all laugh with joy—it is absolutely complete and perfect."

A World of Freedom and Light

"Zhao Yangang is now truly in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, where there is no suffering, only the reception of all happiness. I sincerely hope that more people will be able to 'immigrate' to this wonderful world, a place where every corner is filled with the radiance of the Buddha and the delicate fragrance of lotus flowers. In this realm, there is no space for suffering or evil to take root; all that is beautiful and good flows without any obstruction.

This is truly a world of absolute freedom. I can swim in the golden seas, and I can embark on adventures amidst the golden light and miraculous scenery. Yet, in the end, I always return to the side of Namo Amituofo to listen to the Buddha’s compassionate teachings. I am so happy to be here. I no longer need to ask 'why'—I simply accept everything as it is, because in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, every single detail is kind, beautiful, and pure.

Here, I am doing perfectly well. In truth, there is no need for many words, because in the Western Pure Land, my heart is filled only with gratitude and contentment. I only speak these words so that you may understand what this place is like and join me here.

I am deeply grateful to the Buddha for his , and to Practitioner Su for her compassion. Namo Amituofo.

May all who hear this be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss."
