A Joyous Reunion in the Western Pure Land

On March 7, 2019, the ancestors of Lay Practitioner Huang Wenji sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Through the compassionate guidance of Practitioner Su, they were successfully delivered to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account captures their profound joy and gratitude upon their arrival in that glorious realm. The ancestors who spoke include Mr. Huang Yuesheng (Paternal Grandfather), Mrs. Huang-Li Yin (Paternal Grandmother), Mr. Huang Chunlin (Paternal Great-Grandfather), Mrs. Huang-Luo Hao (Paternal Great-Grandmother), Mr. Li Yutang (Maternal Grandfather), and Mrs. Li-Liang Qixi (Maternal Grandmother).

The ancestors of Lay Practitioner Huang Wenji speak:

"It is absolutely wonderful! I can see my son and daughter-in-law coming to welcome us. It is truly magnificent! I never imagined that such a day would come, that we would be reunited in such a glorious place!"

"Everyone is so incredibly happy, filled with such immense joy. We elders never dreamed that we would be able to arrive at such a magnificent realm. So, this is what they call the Western Pure Land—the very place we chanted the name of Namo Amituofo to reach. Everything here is shimmering and radiant, glowing with a brilliant light everywhere we look."

A Grandson's Filial Piety

"Wenji! I truly do not know how to express my gratitude to you. Although I am your grandfather, you have proven yourself to be such a wonderful, virtuous grandson. I must say thank you to you!"

"Your maternal grandmother was overcome with emotion when she saw her daughter. The mother and daughter embraced one another, both weeping tears of pure joy. We have all finally arrived in the Western Pure Land! There are so many people here, so many! Because we were to be guided by Practitioner Su, we were called to the front. Practitioner Su held our hands and led us forward. We thank Practitioner Su—a thousand, ten thousand thanks!"

A Final Blessing

"We all knelt down to kowtow to Practitioner Su in deep appreciation. Wenji, you are truly a wonderful grandson. Your grandfather hopes that you will continue to follow Practitioner Su, chant the name of Namo Amituofo diligently, and practise with sincerity. When the day comes for you to arrive in the Western Pure Land, we will be right here waiting to welcome you home."

"We all kowtow and offer our deepest gratitude to Practitioner Su once more."
