This is a record of an interview with Lay Practitioner Wang Yulan, the mother of Liu Qiaojing and mother-in-law of Zhang Jie. She sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia and now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon her transition and her message to her family. Recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on February 6, 2026.

Lay Practitioner Wang Yulan speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Wang Yulan. At this very moment, I have set foot upon the soil of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. It is truly, truly inconceivable! In the blink of an eye, with just one strike of the qing by Practitioner Su, I was guided here. I am still in awe of how quickly it happened, and how profound this transformation has been for my spirit.

The Inconceivable Beauty of the Western Land

How beautiful is the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss? It is far more beautiful than the Earth, and even more magnificent than the . It is a dignity and purity that no human mind could ever imagine. The beauty here is not merely in the environment—the golden grounds, the jewelled trees, the singing birds—but in the radiant, dignified, and auspicious characteristics that every being here emanates. It is a realm where everything is perfectly aligned with the .

In the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, one can see Namo Amituofo at any time and in any place. The Buddha’s body is towering and majestic, and the Buddha-light illuminates the entire land. We, the newly arrived children, all stand there with our eyes wide open, staring at everything in this wonderful world, completely dumbfounded. Yet, despite the shock of such beauty, our hearts are incredibly calm. We watch the changes in this world with such peace. People say that in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, whatever you wish for, it appears. It is truly exactly like that!

Gratitude for the Path of Deliverance

Upon arriving in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I immediately returned to the presence of the Buddha. I bowed my head three times to Namo Amituofo, expressing my deepest gratitude for giving me this opportunity to arrive in the Buddha’s own land. I am also filled with gratitude for the guidance of Practitioner Su; without his intervention, I would never have had the chance to reach this place. His is the bridge that allowed me to cross over from suffering to eternal .

Now, let me share my reflections on this journey. To be honest, I do not remember everything about my life in the human world very clearly anymore, but I do know that at the time of my passing, I had not truly let go. To truly let go of everything in the world is such a difficult task! I was a mother, and for a mother, letting go is never easy. At that time, I was carrying so much regret and anxiety. The process from lying on my hospital bed to my final breath is something I truly cannot bear to look back upon. The cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death is inherently full of suffering, and my experience was no exception. When I reached the end, the suffering was particularly intense.

A Mother’s Message to Her Children

Although I suffered for quite some time in a dark, cold space after I passed, and my spirit felt weak and unable to recover, I never imagined that my daughter would encounter the Great Dharma of Namo Amituofo. She found Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, who has the ability to guide deceased spirits to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is such a magnificent and rare blessing! That I had the karmic fortune to arrive here—I am truly, truly lucky.

I really want to tell my children: this place is so wonderful. If you could see it, you would never want to look back at the path of the world again. Please do not worry about me, and even more so, do not worry about your own futures. Because you have already encountered the Great Dharma, you have already found the best home. The Western Land is your home—your future home. The path of human life is very short, so walk it with peace of mind and walk it with joy. Remember to help others along the way, and strive to be a good person. As Practitioner Su says, 'Think well, look well, speak well, and do well.' These are all so important. As long as you can accomplish these things and return to this home in the West, your life will have no regrets.

The Futility of Attachment

Furthermore, my advice as a mother is this: please, do not cling tightly to anyone. During the time I spent in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, looking back at everything that happened in the human world, I felt that my past self was quite ridiculous. I loved to cling to so many things, keeping them in my heart, unable to let go. All of that was truly just a waste of energy and a source of unnecessary pain.

You must take advantage of your remaining years to truly understand the Buddha’s teachings and learn the spirit of the Dharma. It is vital that you help spread the word that Namo Amituofo is residing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. This is of the utmost importance; it is how you can accumulate merits and virtues, and it is the provision you need to return to your home in the West.

Namo Amituofo."
