The Uniqueness of Every Moment

Each moment you experience is entirely unique. No two moments are ever identical within the vast expanse of existence. This is because the state of your heart is in constant flux, and the conditions surrounding you are always shifting. We must consider the following factors that make each moment distinct:

  • The State of the Heart: Your internal intention and focus change from one second to the next.
  • Time and Space: The temporal and spatial coordinates of the universe are in constant motion.
  • Biological and Spiritual Composition: The cells within your physical body, along with the spirits and beings residing within you, are in a state of continuous change.

Even in the infinitesimal gap between one second and the next, there exists an unfathomable expanse of time and space. Therefore, from the perspective of the heart, every moment is a continuation of your inner state. You must grasp each moment with sincerity. Do not let a single moment pass in vain, for once it has departed, it shall never return.

The Cycle of Reincarnation

How many lives depart from this human world in this very moment, transitioning into other realms? We have all experienced countless deaths throughout our long journey in the cycle of reincarnation. Although you may no longer remember the specific circumstances of those past lives, the records remain etched within you. The cells of your body, your , and the various beings that dwell within your —all carry the memory of your past.

They hold the records of your past experiences, including the scenes of your previous lives and the resulting from your past deeds, whether rooted in Goodness or negative . These records are stored within the fifty-one mental factors of the eight consciousnesses, waiting for the right conditions to manifest.

The Path to a True New Beginning

If you wish to embark on a truly new beginning, you must practise the transformation of your karma and strive to attain the state of an awakened being. This is the only way to break free from the patterns of the past. Before you successfully transform your karma, every moment you live is merely a continuation of the past. You remain bound by the chain of the laws of karma and cause and effect, trapped as a single link in the endless cycle of reincarnation.

Only when you transform your karma and attain the state of an awakened being can your heart truly take charge of itself. Only then will you no longer be entangled or bound by the karmic forces of your past. When you reach this state, you will be able to live with true autonomy, inner coolness, and . This is what it means to have a truly new beginning. May you find the strength to walk this path with diligence and faith.
