Lee Kuan Yew speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Lee Kuan Yew. Today, I wish to share a fundamental truth with everyone: a human life is truly only a fleeting moment. Furthermore, the terror that follows death is real, and it is only by following Namo Amituofo that one can find true peace. At the moment of my own death, I passed through a terrifying process. I was surrounded by a thick, dark, and chilling atmosphere. I first saw myself standing upon an execution platform, and it was then that I realised with a jolt that my life had already ended. As this thought arose in my mind, the jailers beside me told me that I had already been seized to face my punishment. I cried out in agony, for the torture was so excruciating that I did not know how to endure it. I screamed in pain, and it was only then that I understood how unbearable the suffering of the condemned truly is. I wept and told the jailers that I knew I had done wrong. When I was dragged before the King of Hell, my heart turned cold. The hall was filled with my , all waiting to accuse me. They cried out louder than I did, one after another, lodging complaints about my transgressions to the King of Hell. I could not bear to lift my head; I could only submit to the judgment and continue to suffer the consequences of my actions. I had lost all will to live. Although I was already dead, the feeling was as if I had died a thousand times over. I cannot find the words to describe that sensation, but I truly wish to urge the people of the world to cherish their lives and to begin their spiritual practice without delay."
The Unexpected Call from the Light
"I had no hope left for my existence within the hells. That was until one day, I heard someone in the human world calling my name. At that moment, all the tortures in the hells ceased. I was startled by this unexpected voice. Who possessed such immense power that even the Ten Kings of Hell would show such respect? I saw my karmic creditors still glaring at me in rage, yet I did not understand how I could possibly be leaving that place. I was protected as I was led out of the hells, with many jailers escorting me away. The place I arrived at was filled with brilliant light. When I first arrived, I did not understand what was happening; the life of suffering had left my dimmed. After I had rested for several days, I finally understood that this was the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I realised that the voice I had heard calling me was the energy of Practitioner Su. I am so deeply grateful, and I listened earnestly to her teachings. This is truly the ultimate truth. I am so thankful that I could encounter such Causal Conditions. Here, I have witnessed the scene of Chao Du countless times; it is a truly magnificent and compassionate sight. Many helpless, wandering spirits, under the blessing and purification of the , have had their broken limbs restored to wholeness. Everyone here seeks deliverance. This is truly a rare and wonderful place—a genuine Buddha-land. Every day, I see the Buddha-light manifest here, along with the Western Three Saints receiving beings. The only way I can repay this place is by verifying the truth of all that I have seen. I know that people in the world today like to demand evidence, but all I can do is share my own personal experience with you all."
A Final Plea to My Son
"My son, Hsien Loong, and all of you—if you can hear these words, I hope you will come to this place and personally experience this magnificent sanctuary. I was saved here, and it was here that I achieved rebirth in the Western Pure Land. I hope to see you all come here to verify this for yourselves and to speak with me. I am waiting for my son, Hsien Loong, to come here and find me. I am grateful for everything. Namo Amituofo."
