Every being possesses unique habits and tendencies, shaped by their own life experiences. It is through the intricate web of that we are brought together in this life. When we find ourselves in the company of others, our differing thoughts and actions often lead to friction or even verbal conflict. However, we must remember that our time together is an opportunity for growth.
Embracing Harmony Amidst the Web of Karma
To navigate these challenges, we must cultivate mutual tolerance, , and patience. Whether we are sharing a space or engaging in group cultivation, these virtues are essential. We must learn to look within ourselves and stop our wandering thoughts, ensuring that we never forget the Buddha. Namo Amituofo should be present in our hearts at every moment; we must not let a single instant pass without the Buddha-name.
Cultivating a Heart as Vast as the Sky
When you encounter difficulties, try to put yourself in the other person's shoes. Observe the situation with an open heart. Maintain a gentle expression and use soft, kind words. By doing so, you will naturally expand your mind-capacity, allowing you to appreciate the strengths and talents of those around you. Broaden your perspective and let your actions be vast and inclusive. Always keep a joyful smile on your face, for a happy heart is a fertile ground for the .
Walking the Right Way with Unwavering Resolve
If others slander you, know that their words are not the truth. Simply continue to walk the right path without engaging in unnecessary speech. If people distance themselves from you, do not view it as your own failure. Instead, stay steady on your feet and do not retreat from your practice. The Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way are always present within your own true self. It is your duty to save yourself and to save all beings. By remaining steadfast, you will eventually enter the of Ultimate Bliss and attain Buddhahood.
