The Nature of Beginnings and Endings

In the cycle of existence, every ending is merely the precursor to a new beginning. When we speak of spiritual practice, both the ending and the beginning are defined by the state of our hearts and minds. Everything originates from the heart. The laws of and cause and effect are set into motion the very instant a thought or intention arises. In this way, endings and beginnings are inextricably linked as cause and effect. When we align our actions with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, we facilitate the completion of our current tasks, which naturally paves the way for another beginning.

The Preciousness of the Human Form

The preciousness of the human world lies in the possession of a physical body, which we call a false body. In our practice, this false body allows us to live out our vows. The active pursuit of these vows is, in itself, another beginning. We offer our deepest gratitude to Practitioner Su for his ability to perceive the profound difficulties faced by all beings. When one can clearly see the problem, one can find the solution. Taking concrete action is another beginning; it is the only way to resolve these issues in reality.

The Path to

The root of all suffering for sentient beings is, quite simply, suffering itself. This suffering has persisted throughout time. This is why the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas exist and why they attain Buddhahood—to help all beings leave suffering behind. You are also a sentient being. You must first help yourself leave suffering behind so that you may gain the capacity to help others. To effectively assist others in leaving suffering behind, you must first achieve your own success in practice. Therefore, reaching Awakening is another beginning.

A New Chapter for Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre

At Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, over these past years, with Namo Amituofo residing here, my humble assistance, and the leadership of Practitioner Su, the temple and the fourfold assembly of disciples have continued to progress in our internal establishment, daily routines, and the performed during assemblies. We have successfully helped immeasurable and boundless spirit realm beings leave suffering behind, subdued the demon crowds, and brought the Demon Realm to surrender. Building upon this foundation, we are now ready to enter another beginning: leading human beings to the Western Pure Land.

This new chapter is already being prepared. I hope that the fourfold assembly of disciples will practise diligently and achieve success. In this rare and precious Dharma affinity, let us work together to save immeasurable beings, leading them to the Western Pure Land so that we may all attain Buddhahood together.
