Boarding the Flight to the Western Pure Land
The Thirty-First Letter of President Zhao Puchu
A Message from the Buddhist Association of China

The Fragile Life of a Blade of Grass
The fierce winds blow from the West, and I am cast to the East. When the winds shift and howl from the North, I am forced to bow toward the South. The torrential rain descends with such violent force that I cannot withstand it; I am left lying flat against the cold, unyielding ground. My nature is remarkably resilient, for I have managed to sprout from the narrow, dark crevices of the asphalt road. I struggled with all my might to climb upward, and after great effort, I finally lifted my head to catch a glimpse of the long-lost sunlight.
Yet, the world remains indifferent. Cars roar past, and I am buffeted by the turbulent winds they create, swaying helplessly from side to side. Although I possess great perseverance, there is no one to water me, and there is no rich soil to nourish my growth. I survive within the cracks, but this is the reality of my existence: I am immobile, left to the mercy of the wind, the scorching sun, and the relentless rain. I am but a single blade of grass.
The Hidden Truth of the Material World
Do you believe that a blade of grass can truly speak? Do you understand the profound truth that every single thing in this vast universe is a manifestation of spirit? It is time to stop questioning why the scissors on your desk always seem to cut your fingers; perhaps they once held a deep karmic grievance against you. Consider the pair of shoes you cherish so much; they look beautiful to you because they share a karmic connection with you—a connection of Goodness.
You are never truly alone, for every object surrounding you has the potential to accompany you, to converse with you, and to reveal the truth of your past. This is truly inconceivable, yet this reality should be enough to awaken you from your slumber. These objects were once human beings, just as you are now. Today, they have become a blade of grass, a pair of scissors, or a pair of shoes. You are also a member of this worldly realm, and do you truly believe that you are exempt from such a fate? Perhaps you are fond of the comb in your cosmetic bag; at the moment of your passing, you might find yourself reborn as that very comb. Perhaps you are constantly attached to the little dog in your home; in your next life, you may well become a dog seeking the affection of its master. Is this a future you desire? If you are content with this, then continue to maintain your current lifestyle and habits. However, if you do not wish to become one of the myriad things of this world, you must make immediate changes.
The Only Destination Worthy of Your Vows
Have you ever heard of the of Ultimate Bliss? You should list this realm as your primary destination for rebirth. In fact, it should not merely be your first choice; it must be your only choice. Upon arriving there, you will no longer need to be a pair of shoes or a pair of scissors. Instead, you will have the opportunity to become a Buddha. The dreams you have cherished throughout your life can be fulfilled one by one in that sacred place. If you are dissatisfied with your current self, the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss will allow you to regain your youth and purity. It is the ultimate sanctuary.
Before I, Zhao Puchu, passed away, I did not fully comprehend the vital importance of rebirth in the Western Pure Land. I am fortunate to have had a small measure of merit, which allowed me to be guided toward the West at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I express my sincere gratitude to this place. They make no demands; they simply dedicate themselves silently and sincerely to the welfare of all beings.
A Beacon of Light in the Worldly Realm
Today, the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is working with great intensity to expand the flight path to the West. They are able to easily receive messages transmitted from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and express them in language that everyone can understand. This is likely an experience you have never encountered before. The Buddha does not abandon a single being, and as disciples of the Buddha, they are actively working on His behalf to save every sentient being. Oh, how difficult it is to save the beings of the human world! Do not let your stubborn attachments destroy your bright future of rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
You may feel that this temple is unique, and you are absolutely correct. It is indeed extraordinary, for there is no other temple to date that can communicate with the West as they do. Purity and clarity are their hallmarks. The defilements of the human heart must be washed away and purified. Saving such a vast number of beings is truly not an easy task, yet they hold fast to Right Thought, Goodness, and firm conviction. With the support of the Buddha's , every being they save is one more Buddha in the making, and one less spirit suffering in this world. Such is rarely seen in this world today. Everyone should be aware of this, which is why it is so difficult for many to believe in the pure Goodness and clear intentions found here.
