Breaking Free from Conventional Thinking
The Thirty-sixth Letter of President Zhao Puchu
Former President of the Buddhist Association of China
When you encounter information from the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, do you find yourself filled with doubt, skepticism, or even criticism? Perhaps you have seen waves of discussion arise online. The Trap of Preconceived Notions
There is an ancient wisdom that states: "To know what you know and know what you do not know is true knowledge." There is a common human habit that is quite prevalent: when we are ignorant of the truth, we tend to use our limited knowledge to explain things we do not understand. In doing so, we often add layers of prejudice and erroneous views. These become rigid, strong opinions that prevent us from seeking the truth. We lose the opportunity to verify the facts, and ultimately, it is we who suffer the loss.
The Courage to Challenge Your Worldview
I encourage you to break free from your habitual thinking. Seek new stimuli and challenge the world you do not yet know. When you see messages from the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, do not let skepticism cloud your judgment. Instead, investigate for yourself. The waves of discussion you see are merely the reflections of others' limited . Do not let these external voices dictate your own path to the truth.
The Reality of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss
The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is the ultimate home that every person should seek. Yet, how many can truly rely on their own power to reach it? The reason is that most have not fulfilled the necessary conditions for rebirth in the Western Pure Land. I, Zhao Puchu, am one such person. It is a fact that I did not reach the Western Land on my own. It is an undeniable truth that the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre guided me to reach the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss; this place truly possesses the necessary skills to assist beings.
The Critical Moment of Transition
You may ask yourself, how much time do you have left in this life? Consider the following: ten years, thirty years, or perhaps fifty years? What happens after that? Do you truly know where you are going? At the final moment of your life, you will be confronted by the illusions manifested by your . If you are confused, you will follow them into the cycle of rebirth. At the moment of death, whatever scene, event, or object you think of will determine your next destination. Do not take this lightly. It will influence your existence for thousands of years. You might become a grain of sand, unable to escape for a millennium, forever blown by the wind.
A Path Toward the Light
Do not gamble with your future, for you will lose everything. Instead, be law-abiding and self-disciplined, and move forward step by step. I urge you to visit the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Here, you can truly understand the direction of your future, readjust yourself, and advance toward the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. May you find your way home.
