Great Compassion in Action, Saving All Beings; Hoping for the Restoration of Buddhist Affinity in the Divine Land
In the vast, flowing river of spiritual life and the passage of time, there is no discernible beginning, nor is there an end. Within this existence that is without beginning or end, we have traversed countless cycles of birth and death from the very dawn of time until this present moment. We have wandered through the six realms of rebirth in the worldly realm, experiencing the varied states of existence:
We have lived in this world and in distant corners of the universe, and we have even existed as beings from other planets. Throughout these countless cycles of birth and death, we have endured immeasurable suffering and hardship.
Every instance of birth is the result of the accumulation of countless Causal Conditions. It is only when these conditions mature that the fruit of birth manifests. Within each life, we exhaust an incalculable amount of both Goodness and negative energy. We experience the constant arising and ceasing of phenomena, and when the fruit of death finally manifests, that life concludes, and we are propelled into the next phase of our existence.
How we spend our time between birth and death profoundly influences where we will go in our next life. The quality of our existence is determined by the choices we make and the seeds we plant within our .
Among the six realms of rebirth, the human realm is the most magnificent. This is because we possess a human body, which provides us with the unique and precious opportunity to engage in True Cultivation. It is through this human form that we can seek to find our true self and attain Buddhahood. If we were in other realms, we would lack the necessary conditions to transform our or to rediscover our original nature. This is the true significance and the special nature of the human realm.
