Deliverance Across the Infinite Universe

This is a record of an interview with Venerable Chang Gao, who sought Spiritual Deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his experiences assisting Practitioner Su in the work of universal deliverance. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Faxin, on July 4, 2019.

Venerable Chang Gao speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Venerable Chang Gao. When I first embarked on this journey of Chao Du across the vast celestial expanse with my Master, the speed at which we traversed the realms was beyond human comprehension. We moved with such velocity, weaving through the fabric of space without a moment to catch our breath. My Master’s Dharma Body surged forward, expanding outward to tear open the hidden spaces of the great Bodhisattvas. Within these spaces, we found the countless beings connected to us by karmic affinity.

Traversing the Cosmic Realms

My Master then began to delve deep into the vast oceans and the deepest chasms of the universe. He stood upon the clouds, and the very earth beneath us seemed to shift and transform, as if the mountains and rivers were being rearranged by a celestial hand. I witnessed the incredible sight of beings from the animal realm—wolves, tigers, leopards, chickens, ducks, fish, and geese—transforming into human bodies after their transition. They appeared as men and women, dressed in the attire of various historical eras, representing every age imaginable.

My Master flew straight ahead, never pausing, his great Dharma robes sweeping wide to lead these beings toward salvation. We circled Taiwan, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia, and the work of Chao Du never ceased for a single instant. We immediately arrived beyond the boundaries of the known universe, deep within the Milky Way galaxy itself.

Deliverance Beyond the Milky Way

The layers of space accumulated within the Milky Way are far more ancient than the history of our Earth. Each planet within this galaxy possesses its own physical world—its own mountains, rivers, and lands—and carries the weight of its own long-forgotten history. Upon arriving at a planet, my Master would utter a single Buddha-name, and instantly, the planet’s energy would become vibrant and full. He would then rouse the beings within that world, guiding them to hasten toward the light.

There are spaces within these planets, and there are spaces drifting among the stardust of the galaxy. These spaces can be vast, or they can be as small and subtle as a grain of sand. These realms had never been opened or liberated before. Although the inhabitants of these planets speak languages entirely different from those on Earth, they all sent forth messages of profound gratitude for the deliverance they received. Within each planet, there are those who live in poverty and those who live in abundance; this, too, is a manifestation of the laws of karma and cause and effect. The Truth of these laws exists everywhere throughout the universe.

The Dark Planet and the Light of Buddha

During today’s grand event of Chao Du, we arrived at a planet of extreme evil. The inhabitants of this world possessed faces twisted by malice and thoughts filled with darkness. The planet itself appeared cold, gloomy, and devoid of vitality. The environment was so wretched that even the demons of the cosmic Demon Realm would not wish to visit. Because of the evil within their hearts, these beings were constantly tormented by suffering; they had never known true happiness.

As we passed through, the Buddha-light and the warm, resonant sound of the Buddha-name were scattered across the planet. The magnetic field of that world changed instantly. This transformation allowed some of the inhabitants to understand and follow the Buddha-light to depart, while others, though not yet fully understanding, had their hearts opened and enlightened. Wherever we go for Chao Du, the beings are able to hear my Master’s Dharma talks. I pray that the beings of this planet may be changed by hearing his wondrous words.

The number of beings saved through Chao Du across the universe grows exponentially every single day. This is because, after hearing the Buddha’s teachings, they truly understand and are willing to seek Spiritual Deliverance. Dharma talks and Chao Du are inseparable. This grand event of the Buddha’s teachings, led personally by the Buddha, is a journey through the Dharma Realm that is truly magnificent to behold. I am filled with gratitude for the Buddha’s blessings and for the guidance of my Master. Namo Amituofo."
