Deliverance to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss: The Testimony of Xing Dexian

This is an interview with Xing Dexian, the father of Xing Weixing, Mao Meiju, and Xing Zhongqin. After enduring decades of suffering in the hells, he sought deliverance through the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account was recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on June 5, 2026.

Xing Dexian speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I have finally arrived in this world where suffering is forever absent! I was previously in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, which is also a world free from suffering, but Practitioner Su explained that it is a finite realm. In the future, one might still fall back into the cycle of reincarnation. The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, however, is a world where there is no more reincarnation. I am so incredibly happy right now! I simply cannot find the words to express the joy and satisfaction I feel. Who would have thought that everything could happen so quickly? One moment I was a person enduring the most excruciating punishments in hell, and in the blink of an eye, I have arrived in this Western Land of Ultimate Bliss."

A Peace Beyond Words

"Although this world is called the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, it is not the kind of stimulating, fleeting pleasure that people in the world imagine. It is a profound, peaceful, and serene joy—a true, eternal happiness without any fluctuations or anxiety. I have been in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss for less than half a day, yet I have already felt this deeply. This is what a world with the Buddha is like. Namo Amituofo stands before me with such dignity, radiating golden light that is truly magnificent. Every being who arrives here first makes prostrations to the Buddha to express our gratitude, and we also offer our most sincere thanks to Practitioner Su, who made our rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss possible."

The Extraordinary Skill of Practitioner Su

"Practitioner Su is also a Buddha. He has already realised his true nature while in the human world and can travel back and forth to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss at will. This level of skill is absolutely unique in the entire world. It is precisely because Practitioner Su possesses such extraordinary skills that we are able to connect with the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss! Think about it—the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is ten trillion Buddha-lands away. That is an immense distance! If our hearts are not in sync with the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and if there is no Buddha in our hearts, how could we possibly arrive here?"

A Family's Blessing

"We are an incredibly fortunate group of people. We have had this precious opportunity because our descendants took the initiative to perform Chao Du for us. My wonderful children performed this deliverance for their old father, and they also did it for their mother. Only then did we have the chance to come to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss together! I left the human world decades ago. My former wife lived such a long life; she only passed away recently, and she already had the chance to come to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Her fate is truly blessed. Looking back at myself, because of the karma I created in the past, I suffered through thirty-some years of hellish punishment. It was truly a sight too tragic to behold, a past too painful to look back upon!"

The Weight of Selfishness

"Hell is incredibly, unimaginably painful, but I know in my heart that this was something I had to endure for my own actions. Throughout my many lives, I have created so much karma, and this life was no exception. People often thought I was a very optimistic person, but in reality, I still harboured bad thoughts, spoke unkind words, and did wrong things. What I have experienced most profoundly now is that one must never have a selfish heart. I only realise now that this selfish desire to think more of oneself can easily attract the evil consequences of hell. This is a real, tangible truth—it is not a joke. People in the world are selfish to varying degrees, and it seems normal, but in reality, this is a major violation of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way taught in the Buddha’s teachings. This is the very reason why so many beings suffer and cannot find liberation."

A Warning to the Living

"After suffering through thirty years of hell, I have come to understand many principles, and I know there are many things one must never do. I sincerely express my gratitude before the Buddha, and I also want to say thank you to my children. It is fortunate that you are so wise in the human world, that you were able to learn the Buddha’s teachings and come to know the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This has truly saved your lives! You must hold tightly to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, and especially to everything Practitioner Su teaches. You must strive to put it into practice so that you do not have to walk my old path and suffer the torments of hell."

Final Reflections

"My mind is so clear now. I see that many things are not as they appear on the surface. Having said this, I hope everyone can understand what I am trying to express. Be a good person, live your life happily, and never forget that the Buddha is always with you. Most importantly, you must abide by the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way."

"I hope that those who read this interview will use my life as a mirror and not follow in my footsteps. This is something I will repeat over and over again. Haha! Alright, that is all for now. I will continue to practise diligently here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss."
