On December 24, 2022, during the first session of the , Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju provided essential guidance for all practitioners. His words serve as a reminder that our spiritual journey requires unwavering focus and a commitment to looking within.

The Path of Single-Mindedness

The path of practice is a straight road that leads directly to the of Ultimate Bliss. You must move forward with determination and never look left or right. When you constantly observe others to compare their progress with your own, you lose your ability to master your own life. You become swayed by external influences, and your inner state shifts with every passing breeze. As the saying goes, the environment changes according to one's inner state; if your heart lacks meditative concentration, you will never find true peace.

Harmonising Body-Mind-Spirit

In the process of your practice, you must ensure that your body, mind, and spirit are in perfect harmony. These three aspects must work together in coordination. When they are aligned, you will naturally find yourself rising through the process of purification. If you allow your attention to wander, your heart will become restless and scattered. You must remain grounded in your commitment to the Buddha's path.

The Wisdom of Looking Inward

When your gaze lingers on people, objects, or events that attract your worldly desires, you invite more impurity into your life. It is already difficult enough to purify the defilements you currently carry; why would you burden yourself with even more? Do not look left or right. True practice is found entirely in introspection, internal observation, and internal transformation. By looking within, you can clear away the obstacles that prevent you from reaching the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Let us commit ourselves to this path of single-mindedness, keeping our focus firmly on the Buddha's name. Namo Amituofo.
