The Perpetual Goodness of the Present Moment
Every moment is good. Every single second that passes is filled with potential for goodness. If you do not let these moments pass by in vain, you are truly living. When your heart is settled and unmoving, you will find that the countless beings residing within your own body can also be transformed. They receive the benefits of the , and their hearts become filled with .
Cultivating a Heart of Goodness
To maintain this state, you must think good thoughts, see the good in others, speak good words, and perform good deeds. When your heart is filled with goodness at every moment, it naturally becomes settled and unmoving, free from the ripples of worldly agitation. This state of inner stability is the manifestation of , wisdom, and a vast mind-capacity. It is the ability to embrace all things with joy. When you achieve this, auspiciousness and good fortune will naturally follow, bringing joy to the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and all heavenly beings. This is the mark of progress in your practice and the true meaning of the Buddha’s teachings, aimed at resolving the suffering of all beings and allowing them to leave suffering behind.

The Thrice Yearning Ceremonies are always good. With Namo Amituofo leading the ceremony and the protection of the dragons and heavenly beings, the power of is immense. It helps countless beings and even the demon crowds to leave suffering behind. Through this, they may be reborn into the heavenly realms, and by chanting the name of Namo Amituofo, they may find their way to the of Ultimate Bliss.
Transforming Through the Dharma
The Chao Du is always good. It subdues the demon crowds and guides them into the Dharma-Nature Land. This allows them to finally break free from the cycle of rebirth and the karmic debts of this life. By leaving the Demon Realm and entering the Buddha’s path, they are granted a new life. Listening to the sutras and hearing the Dharma is always good. It allows you to understand the Universal Principles, Truth, and the Right Path, ensuring that you do not wander into confusion but instead walk firmly on the righteous path. Always chant Namo Amituofo, make your vows, and seek rebirth in the Western Pure Land.
