Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Turmoil: Chinese Leadership and Sentient Beings with Karmic Affinity
The morning sun is the first light of the day. As it rises in the east across a vast, clear sky, the golden light spills over the horizon, bathing the entire earth in its warmth. This is one of the most beautiful spectacles of the natural world, serving as a profound symbol of hope and goodness.
When you witness this scene, the effect on your spirit is immediate and transformative: if your heart is bound by the heavy chains of worry, it naturally loosens and finds release; if your face is clouded by sorrow or despair, it naturally unfolds into a smile; if you feel weak or hopeless, you naturally receive the strength to be reborn. This is a form of natural therapy, a peaceful phenomenon existing between humanity and the natural world, operating without intrusion or interference, following the natural rhythms of the seasons.
Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre also emerged from this state of natural harmony. It was born because Practitioner Su diligently practised in the Pure Land, eventually reaching and attaining Buddhahood. Because his heart, vows, and actions were in perfect alignment with , he was able to manifest the presence of Namo Amituofo here, leading to the establishment of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. The fourfold assembly of disciples has gathered here at Hsiang Kuang because of the deep affinity we share with Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su from past lifetimes.
From this foundation, the Centre naturally unfolds a series of inconceivable tasks to save the world and deliver sentient beings: resolving conflicts, inviting spirits to hear the Dharma, performing to liberate suffering souls, and subduing demonic enemies. All these actions arise from a heart of great compassion and are carried out through the power of great Wisdom. This is what we mean by the word 'great'—everything is done for the sake of all beings, without a single trace of selfish desire. It is exactly like the rising morning sun, shining its brilliance upon the entire earth.
To all of you, I say: come to Hsiang Kuang to draw near and hear the Dharma. The gate to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is wide open here at Hsiang Kuang. We are currently leading everyone toward the light, helping you to face the morning sun of your own true nature. Namo Amituofo.
