Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:
Beings in the worldly realm live in the Five Turbidities and Evil World,
experiencing countless reincarnations of karmic suffering, yet they have not realised they are living in misery.
When aging and the extreme pain of illness cause suffering to -Mind-Spirit, only then do they realise that suffering has manifested.
By the time the body perceives this suffering, has often already manifested, having accumulated thick layers of dust and pollution,
that is, beings exist across layer upon layer of space, living in anxiety,
accumulating and releasing immense negative entities,
which causes the body's cells to change and swell, emitting signals of pain and wailing.
When the physical body can feel pain, and the heart harbours fear and knows the extremity of suffering, it is the time when suffering beings rise up to seek revenge.
One must quickly calm the fire in the hearts of these beings—that is, the resentment and unrest within—and not add fuel to the fire.
"Greed, anger, delusion, arrogance, and doubt" along with "wealth, lust, fame, food, and sleep,"
these are all elements that add fuel to the fire; the fire of anger is especially inappropriate.
It is like a thief; one must always be careful and cautious, guarding against the thief entering the home again.
If a thief enters the home, it will certainly cause even heavier harm, loss, and suffering.
At this time, one should diligently practise, chant one Buddha's name to the end.
The immense energy of within the Buddha's name comes from the great compassion of Namo Amituofo's Forty-eight Great Vows,
and the blessing of immeasurable and boundless power of merit and majestic power,
which can help soothe the pain, resentment, and anger in the hearts of beings, reducing the harm caused to the body.
Especially when the suffering of illness manifests, beings are resolved batch by batch, and beings are invited to be saved through ,
which can reduce the spread and expansion of aging and illness.
One should utilise one's own strength, chant Namo Amituofo well, chant with focus, and be single-mindedly devoted to Namo Amituofo.
"arouse the mind and single-mindedly recite Namo Amituofo"—this is the treasure that Namo Amituofo has compassionately bestowed upon everyone; one must use it well.
Regardless of the situation,
one must overcome the situation of being led by beings due to a lack of compassion, drifting with the tide of their thoughts,
and bravely and firmly chant one clear Buddha's name after another.
This is the subtle Dharma that can subdue demonic enemies.
The power and light of Namo Amituofo can bless and help the masses, soothing the sorrowful and grieving hearts of ,
enabling them to be without fear, to have a calm heart, and to accept resolution and Chao Du.
Those who chant Namo Amituofo use the two powers of self-effort and the power of Namo Amituofo to support their practice.
At the time of approaching death, they can also be without fear, chanting Namo Amituofo single-mindedly and with great strength,
clearing away the obstacles of karmic creditors,
chanting until Namo Amituofo manifests to lead them into the of Ultimate Bliss,
and thereafter live a life without fear and without suffering, in ultimate bliss, continuing their practice in that environment to attain Buddhahood.
And the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Queensland, Australia, is the place where Namo Amituofo is residing here.
Its fourfold assembly and the beings residing within,
in this environment of the Western Pure Land,
under the guidance of Namo Amituofo, the Teacher, and Practitioner Su, can practise diligently,
saving themselves and being saved by Namo Amituofo, rescuing themselves and being rescued by Namo Amituofo, to soon rediscover their true self and attain Buddhahood,
following Namo Amituofo to save beings to the West, and attaining the skill to freely travel to and from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Or helping the masses to be without fear, to leave suffering and gain happiness, and to stay away from aging and illness,
even to the point of being free from aging, free from illness, and having a spirit that never dies, chanting Namo Amituofo and making the vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
