When the human heart is stable, all things remain peaceful. However, if the heart is restless and agitated, it becomes difficult for any situation to find harmony. Within the vast space surrounding us, there are many spirits. If you cling to attachments and try to grasp at things, your own spirit will become scattered and lost, drifting in all directions. Why subject your body, mind, and heart to such unnecessary turmoil and imbalance?

The Mastery of the True Self

When one loses control, their countenance changes, and they may cry out in distress. In such moments, they are no longer the master of their own being. They are swept away by the great waves of , sinking into the lower realms. Innocent beings are often caught in this suffering as well. Because the laws of karma and cause and effect have already been set in motion, suffering is inevitable. Each individual must bear the weight of their own karma.

As a practitioner, you must never allow yourself to be drawn into this chaos. Do not let your pure heart become confused. It is not easy to achieve a peaceful heart, so do not let it be stirred by external disturbances. The spirits of the underworld are easily startled, and their agitation can disturb the peace of the human heart, making it difficult to remain calm.

The Radiance of Compassionate Purification

The Fragrant Light of the Buddha has arrived in Hong Kong. The Causal Conditions for this assembly have manifested. Suffering sentient beings are invited to come forward, to hear the Dharma, and to realise the karma they have created. Disturbing others is the creation of a negative cause. By repenting for the harm caused to the masses, the Buddha’s light can shine upon them, transforming their impurities and obstacles.

The water of the Buddha purifies the mud of our past. We must be diligent in the . When all conditions are united in one heart, we can dissolve these disasters and obstacles. This teaching was recorded by the chief writer, Venerable HaiZe.
