Those who seek the Truth will find that their path of practice varies according to their unique affinity. However, when we speak of the school, we must look to the source of all light and salvation. Namo Amituofo is the supreme Teaching Master of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. He is the one who established this magnificent realm, creating a sanctuary where all beings can enter, attain Buddhahood, and leave suffering behind to find ultimate happiness.
Namo Amituofo is the one who rescues suffering beings, offering them a way out of their endless cycles of pain. He established the Forty-eight Great Vows specifically to save all boundless suffering sentient beings. He is the Namo Amituofo, whose body encompasses the entire Dharma Realm. Without Namo Amituofo, there would be no Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and no Pure Land Dharma Gate. It is only through His presence that we have the precious opportunity to escape the cycle of rebirth in the worldly realm and the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm.
The scope of Namo Amituofo’s Forty-eight Great Vows is truly vast and inclusive. It is not limited to the inhabitants of this worldly realm; rather, it pervades the entire Dharma-realm and empty space. These vows are not only for sentient beings with emotions and ; even those we consider inanimate are included within His compassionate embrace.
This is precisely why Namo Amituofo is praised and honoured by all the Buddhas across the ten directions of the Dharma Realm. His compassion knows no bounds, and His power to save is absolute.
Today, the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, serves as a sacred location where Namo Amituofo is residing here. By strictly following the Buddha’s Forty-eight Great Vows, the Centre works tirelessly to save all boundless suffering sentient beings. The gates of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss remain wide open, continuously welcoming those from the ten directions who, according to their vows and practice, sincerely wish to enter the Western Pure Land.
The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre acts as a vital bridge between our worldly realm—our galaxy, our universe, and the entire Dharma Realm—and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Many beings from the spirit realm are able to receive the illumination of the Buddha-light because Namo Amituofo is residing here. Through this light, they can elevate the quality of their spirit, receive , and finally find the opportunity to leave suffering behind and be reborn in the Western Pure Land.
The fourfold assembly of disciples at the temple engages in diligent practice every single day. They rise early to perform the morning service, dedicating themselves to the core pillars of our practice:
These practices are essential for the purification of , heart, and spirit, with the ultimate goal of achieving liberation as soon as possible. Because Namo Amituofo is residing here, the magnetic field within the temple space is exceptionally stable and pure. The temple is surrounded by many Dharma-protecting Bodhisattvas who ensure the peace, sanctity, and purity of the environment.
For all beings in the human world and the spirit realm, you must seize this rare opportunity. You are now close to Namo Amituofo; you have the chance to seek the Dharma and attain a state where you not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die. This is the path to being reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
If you are a practitioner who wishes to realise your true nature and attain Buddhahood, you must be resolute. You must follow closely in the footsteps of Namo Amituofo and the salvation team of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.
