Cai Chunhe speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I have finally arrived at the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss!
Just a few hours ago, Practitioner Su struck the qing at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, and we seven beings who were undergoing deliverance were instantly transported into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. We had been waiting in the for quite some time. It is a world I had never seen before; there were so many beings from all directions constantly arriving. You could see an endless, boundless number of beings. Although we all looked different when we first arrived, after a period of purification, we all began to look similar—clean, radiant, and beautiful.
The Peace of the Pure Land
The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is something else entirely. I have only been here for a few hours, yet my entire heart feels completely at peace. There are no messy thoughts, no lingering attachments. It is truly a Buddha-land. Only under the illumination of the Buddha-light can one experience such a profound state of being.
I am so incredibly grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. I am also deeply thankful to my family in the human world for performing this Chao Du for me. It is a feeling that is difficult to put into words. I want to tell my family: 'I have arrived here safely. Please do not worry about me. And please, I urge you to treat the goal of reaching the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss as the most important task of your life.'
Thirty Years in the Darkness
I never felt this way before. I did not think much about where I would go after death. Of course, everyone wants to go to a better place, but I never imagined that after my physical body died, I would suffer so much in the darkness for nearly thirty years. I spent those decades in a dark space, never seeing the sun, never seeing a single ray of light. Now that I have arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I am constantly surrounded by such brilliant light. It is truly inconceivable! I keep chanting the Buddha-name, and I never want to stop.
Namo Amituofo is here, teaching the just as he did when we were in the Western Dharma-Nature Land. We listen to Practitioner Su’s lectures. I have only recently learned the phrase 'all Buddhas walk the same path.' It turns out that the sutras taught by the Buddhas are all the same at their core—the same , the same equality. The Buddha's world is the embodiment of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
The Path to Deliverance
There are so many new terms I have learned here. I believe that if my family listens to Practitioner Su’s lectures, they will have heard these terms too. If you have not listened, I urge you to do so. Without listening to the sutras and hearing the Dharma, it is impossible to understand the Truth, to know how to escape the cycle of rebirth, or to realise that the Western Dharma-Nature Land and the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss are actually right before your eyes—because the Buddha has truly come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia.
Namo Amituofo is so compassionate; wherever beings are in need, he appears to provide everything they need to learn. This is the compassion of the Buddha, and it is also the compassion of Practitioner Su. Today, I must thank my family for performing the Chao Du for me. Especially my grandson, Cai Nan—when I saw your name next to mine here, I knew it must have been you who had the heart to perform this deliverance for your old grandfather.
A Lesson on Impermanence
Although I cannot remember everything about the human world clearly anymore, I am still so grateful to you all. Thank you, my family, for bringing me this gift. After arriving in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, all the events of the past seem to drift away like clouds. It makes me realise that nothing in human life is truly real. Everyone must seize the opportunity while you possess a human body to do good deeds, perform acts of kindness, and help others. That is what matters most.
Otherwise, when your breath stops, you will end up like me—wandering in a dark space as a spirit for thirty years, only to find that it was all for nothing. The ups and downs of a human life, all the various events—in the end, it is all empty! Therefore, no matter what, you must persist in chanting the Holy Name 'Namo Amituofo'. Tell yourself that you must make the vow to come here, so that you can save many, many more beings with whom you have a karmic affinity.
Well, that is all for today from Cai Chunhe. Gratitude to Namo Amituofo, gratitude to Practitioner Su.'
Namo Amituofo.
Cai Chunhe"
