Ho Tsu-kwok:
, I am Ho Tsu-kwok. I never imagined that after passing away, I would be rescued by a Buddhist organisation in this manner. I truly never thought that such a Buddhist spiritual world existed.
During my lifetime, I could say I had seen everything—from all kinds of strange occurrences in the human world to media gossip and the various happenings on the streets; basically, nothing escaped my grasp. In Hong Kong, there are indeed many different religions and folk beliefs, and the streets and alleys are filled with all sorts of temples, altars, and bodhimandas. However, to me, these were merely a part of people's cultural life, and I had never truly verified them. Yet now, my spirit truly and vividly exists within this spiritual world.
This is the Western Land of Nature of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. Here, I have slowly come to accept the fact that I have passed away. When I first died, I was extremely confused and did not know where my spirit should go; naturally, I ended up in a dark place to continue the next stage of my existence. But that life was not pleasant; it was a place of punishment similar to a human prison, where my heart was constantly being gouged out. Only then did I realise that hells truly exist, and I could not accept why I had to enter one.
While constantly undergoing punishment, I kept reviewing my entire life. With every punishment, I could see every wrong action I had committed while alive. Rather than calling them images, it is more accurate to say they were my biased mental notes. I wanted to dig up others' secrets through gossip and public opinion to make my news more sensational. These were, in fact, ways of profiting from the pain and negative events of others. But looking back now, these gains were not true gains; ultimately, they only ended up harming myself.
After spending some time in the Dharma-Nature Land, I finally understood that these tactics and methods used during my lifetime harmed others and also harmed myself. My life appeared glorious, and my career was quite successful, managing industries in many different fields. But looking at it now, the businesses I engaged in were all based on using others to benefit myself. All of this meant I had to make amends.
When I was judged before the King of Hell, I did not understand, but now as I look back, I know the punishments I was sentenced to were the heart-gouging hell, brain-gouging hell, tongue-pulling hell, and intestine-gouging hell.
Seven years in the heart-gouging hell, six years in the brain-gouging hell, seven years in the tongue-pulling hell, and four years in the intestine-gouging hell. In total, the time I had to spend being punished was quite long, and I had to go from one hell to another to serve my time. This was difficult for me to accept. At the time, I did not understand the significance of these hells and began my endless suffering.
After emerging from the punishment, I do not know how much time had passed when a golden light shone down from above my head. This golden light was very rare to me, as the world I inhabited had no light at all. The sudden appearance of this golden light warmed my heart and slowly eased my body, which had been suffering so much. When I heard my name, "Ho Tsu-kwok," being called, I followed this golden light and arrived in a clean and bright world. This is the Western Land of Dharma Nature of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia that I just mentioned.
Only now do I understand that it was the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia that rescued me from hell, allowing me to stop suffering. If it were not for a practitioner at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia named Practitioner Su, who reached out and pulled me from hell, I fear I would have had to stay there for decades. In hell, it is truly difficult to give rise to a heart of repenting. Listening to the Dharma in the Dharma-Nature Land, I finally understood that to escape from hell or shorten one's sentence, the most important thing is to recite the Holy Name "Namo Amituofo." If one can see one's own biased and evil mental notes during the process of punishment, see that one has harmed others, and be able to wake up and give rise to a heart of repenting, perhaps the sentence could be shortened. However, in hell, the unbearable pain often leaves one's unclear.
Now I understand that this unclear consciousness is because I was not truly willing to admit and face all the mistakes I had committed. Although I did not understand the mistakes I had made, I did not have a rebellious attitude; after all, I knew in my heart that the fields I worked in were not exactly righteous, bright, or noble. I knew it in my heart, but I could not fully comprehend it. Now that I have arrived in the Dharma-Nature Land, I understand these principles even better.
Perhaps it was a small amount of good roots and conscience, along with some repenting for what I had done, that allowed me to encounter the temple and be rescued from hell. Relatively speaking, I did not spend too long being punished in hell. But for me, suffering for one day, or even a single second, is painful. In the spiritual world, the perception of the flow of time is different from that in the human world; even though I had not been in hell for long, it still caused me incomparable pain.
Now that Practitioner Su has rescued me, I no longer have any pain. I want to tell my sons and daughters that Dad truly took the wrong path this time. Although our business was successful and you also gained many benefits from it, and such a business did indeed support our family, we must admit that all of this involves the laws of and cause and effect. Dad has already gone to hell to suffer retribution, and whether you can avoid such hellish punishment in the future depends on whether you can learn a lesson from my experience.
What is needed most of all is Buddhist education. Why is Buddhist education important? Because everything I have experienced can only be realised in the spiritual world after death. In the human world, no education can explain these principles clearly. Only the Buddhist education of Amitabha Buddha can thoroughly explain the causes and consequences of leaving this world and can also teach people the principles of the laws of karma and cause and effect.
Karma is not baseless; it is a fundamental principle where one's various biased mental notes—thinking only of oneself and harming others—naturally spread throughout the universe and eventually rebound upon oneself. If one does not practise and does not understand the laws of karma and cause and effect, it is easy to squander and indulge one's human body, not realising that life is short and not understanding that everything one does must align with Truth, fairness, and moral foundations. Little do people know that any biased thought or intention will be severely tested at the moment of death; this spirit will have to bear all the consequences after death, and not a single act will be missed. If you harm others, you must go to hell to suffer retribution; if you help others do good, you will naturally go to a good place. Of course, I did not only do bad things in my life, but good and bad deeds cannot cancel each other out; one must make amends for everything one has created.
Now I have arrived in the Dharma-Nature Land and have settled down. This is a Buddha-land established by Practitioner Su, a great practitioner of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, through the blessing of Amitabha Buddha. It is clean, bright, and peaceful, and one can hear the magnificent six-character name "Namo Amituofo" that brings peace to the heart at any time. The magnificence of this Buddha-name lies in the fact that whenever I recite it in my heart, I can clearly feel the rigid personality and attachments in my heart slowly fading away; it is truly inconceivable.
In the Dharma-Nature Land, everyone is in the form of a spirit, and how much defilement one has in their heart is very clear, reflected in the colour of one's spirit—that is, the difference between the dimness and brightness of one's energy field. Reciting this Buddha-name causes the energy field within to change, purifying it bit by bit until it gradually becomes transparent and bright. Therefore, every spirit here is very actively reciting this Buddha-name.
When I was alive, I did not have the opportunity to learn such a great Dharma and did not know the importance of this Buddha-name, so I worked hard my whole life, only to end up with hellish punishment. Therefore, I want to counsel you all to be very careful. No matter what work you are engaged in, or what new developments you may have in the future, you must abide by the universal principle, abide by justice, fairness, and moral foundations; this is the most important thing.
If you are not clear about these details, please remember to learn Buddhist education. Buddhist education has been promoted by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia for many years. You can search for "Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia" online to see many Buddhist education materials regarding the spiritual world and Amitabha Buddha's discourse. Learning as soon as possible is the only way to avoid repeating the same mistakes.
I also want to share some good news with you: although I have passed away, I have not left you all; I have simply become a spirit in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. It is the temple that gave me this opportunity to help me convey this message to you, and it is also my hope that I can pass on the importance of Buddhist education so that everyone can be vigilant and not end up like me—working hard for a lifetime, achieving a career and a family, only to end up suffering retribution in hell. This is truly sorrowful to think about.
Many children are currently suffering such pain. They cannot understand what they have done wrong, nor do they know that playing on the internet and using mobile phones are behaviours that are very far from the universal principle and the Truth of moral foundations. If a child is polluted by internet information from a young age and cannot be corrected in time to learn traditional moral education, their life will be very miserable. In their studies and career, they will only think of themselves with biased and evil mental notes and use any means necessary, eventually completely losing their character.
This is the current situation. Even if I do not say it, everyone understands this principle. It is just that these phenomena have caused people to hypnotise themselves, making everyone think this is a natural phenomenon. Thirty or forty years ago, people's character was relatively simple and pure. The current social environment is even more sinister than it was then. This sinister nature comes from people acting for personal gain, and in order to obtain the fame, status, and power they desire, they commit many things they should not do. Such short-term gain is wrong, and the price paid for this in the end is long-term retribution in hell.
I must tell everyone that you must do your best to learn Buddhist education to avoid creating immense sins in these few short decades of life. Not knowing that you will fall into hell, and not even knowing how to repent, can be described as suffering upon suffering. Not knowing how to learn from the Buddha, not knowing how to cultivate and wisdom, not knowing how to help others, and not knowing how to selflessly give what you have will lead to serious consequences. This is the most truthful principle of Buddhist education that I have learned in the Dharma-Nature Land.
I worked in the media industry for a long time in my life and did many improper things, but this time, I finally did something right. What I am promoting this time is not news or indecent content, but the Buddha’s teachings that truly conform to the universal Truth and the righteous path. Although you may not be used to my transformation, regardless, I have been reborn; I am no longer the ignorant Ho Tsu-kwok of the past, but a Ho Tsu-kwok who has re-learned Buddhist education and understands the difference between right and wrong.
This time, I want to clearly state this to my family and the partners I have worked with in my field. I hope you can understand all of this and not think of this as a simple piece of moral advice to be brushed aside. This is me, in the form of a spirit, truly calling out to you. I hope you will not suffer the same pain as I have. You are all still young and have the opportunity to make a change. While you still have a human body, you still have great potential; I hope you will cherish it well.
I am conveying this message in the form of a spirit in the Dharma-Nature Land. It may seem special and surprising, but in reality, it is just like me speaking directly to you. The content is very simple; I just hope you can understand the profound principles contained within, truly believe in the laws of karma and cause and effect, believe in the Buddha’s teachings, and actively learn Buddhist education. Most importantly, search for "Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia" to understand the spiritual world; it will be of great help to you.
These are the words I wanted to say to you. Thank you for patiently reading these messages. Thank you.
