Liao Wan-lung is a legendary Taiwanese entrepreneur and political figure, known as the "Tungsten Steel King." He served as a long-term member of the Central Standing Committee of the Kuomintang and actively advocated for the rights of Taiwanese businesses across the strait, making him an influential figure in cross-strait economic and political circles. Interviewer: Venerable Fa Ning. June 21, 2026. A letter from Liao Wan-lung to Mr. Terry Gou: Mr. Gou, I am Liao Wan-lung. Mr. Gou, the ways of the world are truly wondrous; I never imagined that after my passing, I would still have the opportunity to speak with you. We have been friends with a certain bond throughout this life, and I have always admired your boldness and management philosophy. Under your leadership, Foxconn has indeed seen remarkable development. As such a successful entrepreneur, you have had an indispensable influence on Taiwan's economic development and social employment. Here, I would like to offer you a direct suggestion: I hope you will come to invest in the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. This temple is where Namo Amituofo abides, and it can bring the true benefits of not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die to people in this world, while helping everyone to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I imagine that as a successful entrepreneur, you must feel most helpless regarding the two matters of "aging" and "illness." After all, you have weathered many storms and trials throughout your life, yet you have never known how to resist the threats of illness and aging. Now, I can clearly tell you, Mr. Gou, that the cure for not grow old and not get sick is right here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Namo Amituofo can truly bring everyone the real benefits of the Buddha’s teachings, and the key lies in receiving the education of the Buddha. Now that the Buddha has come to this world, He is waiting for people to discover this precious land of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This will inevitably cause a great resonance and sensation, as the hope for all humanity is found right here—by coming to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, there is an opportunity to not get sick, not grow old, and also be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Such news is indeed shocking, yet it is true and real. I know you are a very pragmatic person; you are welcome to send people here to investigate, but please remember to come with a heart of absolute reverence. Because the Buddha is so compassionate towards all beings, we should reciprocate with equal reverence; this is a fundamental attitude. As the saying goes, "True gold fears no fire." The real benefits of the Buddha’s teachings have already been personally attained by Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Now, it is just waiting for more people to attain such benefits like Practitioner Su, but this requires listening to the teachings of Namo Amituofo and putting them into practice. Mr. Gou, no matter how long a person lives, it is at most a little over a hundred years; however, the life journey of the spirit after death is infinitely long. After my passing, my spirit also went through many twists and turns before arriving at the pure, bright, and beautiful world where I am now, which is the "Western Land of Nature" of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This was not an easy journey, and many people are not as fortunate as I am. I truly hope that you, Mr. Gou, can also receive the help of Namo Amituofo. But I do not wish for you to be like me, only being saved by Practitioner Su after death and being able to exert only your remaining strength; rather, I hope that while you are still alive, you can personally come to the temple to verify the great Dharma of "not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die." Once you have personally attained such benefits, I hope you will step forward and take the lead in calling upon entrepreneurs in Taiwan and even around the world to come together to Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, to seek the Dharma at this holy site of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. What you seek can be spiritual liberation or the healing of physical illness; regardless, as long as you pray with sincerity, believe in the Buddha, and follow the Buddha's guidance, all suffering can be resolved at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This is because the abbot of this temple is the great teacher of the spiritual realms, Namo Amituofo. In fact, the root cause of all suffering in the world stems from the restlessness, agitation, dissatisfaction, and pain of the spirit. All education in the world today ignores the spiritual level and cannot bring people ultimate benefits. Only the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre can truly reveal the mysteries of the human world and the spiritual realms to everyone, and unlock the truth of life and the universe. Only such a temple can help resolve all the suffering in the world. Because resolution requires great cultivation and true , and even more so, it requires the inconceivable Buddha's of Namo Amituofo. Now, all these Causal Conditions are complete. Namo Amituofo of the spiritual realms and the awakened being Practitioner Su of the human world are both gathered at this precious land of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, waiting for everyone to come and recognise these two supreme treasures of the vastness of the Dharma Realm and the universe. As for whether you can attain what you seek in your heart, it depends on your own destiny. Mr. Gou, I know you are a person of Wisdom. Time is running out, and life is marked by impermanence; every day is a critical moment for salvation, and every day can be a time of hope for rebirth. As long as you still have this body, the interference from sentient beings in the spiritual realms towards your body will be continuous. At this very moment, you should summon your boldness and take active steps to save the countless suffering sentient beings within your body. As long as you come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, you can be saved, because Namo Amituofo can lead everyone to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and Practitioner Su's Western Land of Dharma Nature can provide a beautiful and peaceful place for countless sentient beings to reside. This is because Practitioner Su performs for immeasurable and boundless sentient beings day and night, accumulating immeasurable and boundless merit; under the completion of various magnificent and rare Causal Conditions, the resolution of all suffering in the world can be realised. When you were running for president, Mr. Gou, I also stood up to strongly support you. This is because I know that in your heart, Mr. Gou, there has always been a kind heart that cares for the well-being of all the people of Taiwan, and this belief in Goodness is very precious. As your friend of many years, I know that "serving the country and the people" has always been your aspiration. And now, if you can lead everyone to know the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, the cause you can achieve will definitely not just be helping the people of Taiwan, but helping people in Taiwan, China, Japan, and even the whole world to be saved. I believe, Mr. Gou, you have no reason not to participate in such a great cause. In conclusion, I am now waiting for you to come and see me at the Western Land of Dharma Nature of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I hope you can come here to talk to me, and of course, more importantly, to meet the Buddha here. This will bring an earth-shattering transformation to your life, which will be a revitalising and refreshing experience. [[BLOCK_0]]
