Liberating the Infinite Dimensions of Earth
An Interview with Venerable Yongning
Recorded by Chief Writer Shi Fajing on February 27, 2023
Venerable Yongning, a monastic who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre and currently resides there, shared these insights in an interview recorded on February 27, 2023.
Venerable Yongning speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Venerable Yongning. Within the dimensions invisible to the human eye, there exist countless sentient beings. These spirits remain trapped within these spaces, and if no one reaches out to save them, they will never have the opportunity to find liberation. They are effectively lost in a cycle without end.
Practitioner Su, witnessing the profound suffering of these spirits in the spiritual realms, has manifested a heart of immense . He utilises his to perform , entering into infinite and boundless dimensions to rescue these trapped souls. Having endured such deep suffering themselves, these liberated spirits understand the pain of all beings more clearly than anyone else. Consequently, they are filled with gratitude and, one by one, they make vows to dedicate themselves to the salvation of all sentient beings.
The Tireless Work of Compassion
Practitioner Su is constantly pushing the boundaries of his ability to perform Chao Du. He sacrifices his own rest, seizing every single minute and second of his life in this world to rescue these countless trapped spirits. One might wonder: will there ever be a day when all these spirits are saved? From my perspective, I see that the dimensions are simply too numerous. The space within a single Earth cannot be calculated by numbers alone. There are so many dimensions, each filled with spirits. It seems an impossible task to save them all, yet Practitioner Su’s compassion is such that he saves as many as he can. At the very least, every time a group is saved, that many more beings are able to leave suffering behind and find liberation.
It is precisely because of this that Practitioner Su actively treasures his time. He does not waste a moment on worldly affairs; instead, he devotes as much time as possible to the deliverance of these beings from the spiritual realms. As for human beings, Practitioner Su is working to save them as well. However, humans often possess stubborn personalities. Even when they listen to the sutras and hear the , they are not necessarily willing to adjust their own habits or ego. Even when they are already suffering from illness, it remains difficult for them to subdue their inner minds. Practitioner Su tries his best to help human beings awaken. Every time one person awakens, it means one more person can reclaim their Dharma Body to help others. This is something Practitioner Su deeply hopes for. If more people join the ranks of saviors, it will be a great blessing for all beings, providing them with more opportunities to find liberation and leave suffering behind.
The Infinite Manifestations of the Dharma Body
Currently, the dimensions that Practitioner Su is able to reach through his Chao Du work are constantly expanding. No matter how subtle or minute a space may be, Practitioner Su is able to enter it. I have clearly observed that every time the chanting of the Buddha's name begins, Practitioner Su, in the shortest possible time, manifests countless billions of Dharma Body incarnations. These countless manifestations enter into infinite dimensions, rescuing the beings trapped within them.
Throughout this entire process of deliverance, there is inevitably interference from demon crowds and evil forces that seek to hinder Practitioner Su. These forces have long been controlling the Earth. Therefore, when Practitioner Su exerts such great power to liberate the spirits within Earth's dimensions, these evil forces—the demons, malevolent spirits, and wicked entities—naturally do not let him be. They come in wave after wave, endlessly seeking to confront him. Although they cannot enter Practitioner Su's body, they still cause interference and influence his physical form from the outside. Only someone with the compassion and tolerance of Practitioner Su could endure such attacks from these evil forces, and even maintain a positive outlook toward all of it.
A World in Transformation
Today, I see that the Earth's dimensions, which were once like stagnant water, have begun to flow. Even the tiny dust particles floating in the air are dancing and leaping. The entire Earth is currently undergoing a powerful transformation. All people on Earth should rejoice and be grateful for Practitioner Su's compassionate salvation of our world. Among these spirits in the various dimensions, who is to say whether or not your own past family members are among them? Regardless of whether they are or not, we should treat them as one with ourselves and join together in chanting Namo Amituofo to help them find liberation and leave suffering behind.
Namo Amituofo."
