The Supreme Path of Chanting

The term 'nothing better' signifies that there is no method more profound or effective than the practice of chanting the Buddha-name. Every single sound of the Buddha-name acts as a gentle yet powerful call, echoing through the depths of your to awaken the Buddha nature within you. When you chant, you must do so with a focused and steady heart. Let the chanting flow continuously without interruption. As you immerse yourself in this sacred sound, you will naturally begin to forget the burdens of the past and the anxieties that weigh upon your spirit. This is the most effective method for washing away the stains of the heart and ensuring that your mind remains pure, untainted by the dust of the world. It is the essential requirement for your journey to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Cultivating the Seeds of Goodness

To walk the path of the practitioner, you must learn to cultivate a heart that is aligned with the Truth. Always look for the good in all things, speak only of what is good, and perform actions that embody Goodness. When you focus on the good, you nourish your spirit and strengthen your resolve. Conversely, the 'bad'—those negative thoughts and actions—serves only to stain the heart. Such negativity acts as a form of interference, creating obstacles that hinder your practice and cloud your clarity. A wise person is one who understands how to transform these negative tendencies into Goodness. By consciously choosing to turn towards the light, you demonstrate the wisdom of a true practitioner.

The Responsibility of the Practitioner

There is no time to delay when it comes to the work of saving beings. You must act in the present moment, for the need to save beings is urgent. When you proceed with a direct and sincere heart, you will find that beings are saved, and you will be accompanied by the presence of Namo Amituofo, receiving the constant support of the Buddha's blessing. You must ensure that your heart is never separated from the Buddha. By keeping the Buddha in your heart at all times, you allow the Buddha's power to assist you whenever you face challenges. Faith is the foundation of this journey; you must truly believe in the Buddha to achieve success in your practice. To believe, to chant, and to eventually become a Buddha—this is the ultimate Truth and the reality of our existence. This is the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way that every disciple of the Buddha must follow.

Achieving Stability Through Concentration

As you progress, you must observe your own diligent practice. You must first achieve personal success and develop your own skills before you can effectively save others. If you lack the necessary meditative concentration and spiritual strength, you will find yourself easily swayed by the influence of others, making it difficult to fulfil your vow to save beings. True stability is found when your heart possesses deep meditative concentration. When you are no longer turned by external conditions, and your heart remains unmoved by the fluctuations of the world, you have truly become a practitioner with profound skills. This is the state of one who has truly mastered the art of the heart.
