Teachings from Namo Amituofo
Teachings from Namo Amituofo, recorded by Venerable HaiZe on August 30, 2025.
My children, life is limited. Before you have reached the state of and possess the true ability to ensure your own rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, your physical body remains subject to the laws of impermanence. You are constantly pressured by this fleeting nature of existence. Time is precious, and you do not have the luxury of wasting it in hesitation, doubt, or lethargy. Do not allow yourself to drift through life in a state of gloom, feeling powerless or unable to summon the strength to practise.
The Fragility of Life and the Preciousness of Time
At any given second, your breath may stop. When that moment comes, your connection to this physical body and this world will reach its end. You will be like a kite with a broken string, unable to soar in the wind any longer. Therefore, you must raise your spirits and ensure that every single moment is spent in the act of chanting Namo Amituofo. You must strive to keep the Buddha-name flowing in your heart throughout the twenty-four hours of the day without interruption.
- If an unexpected moment of impermanence occurs, you will remain anchored in the Buddha-name.
- If your life is coming to an end, Namo Amituofo will immediately manifest to lead you to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
- If your life is not yet at its end, you will remain in this world, but through the power of the Buddha's , you will be able to turn danger into safety, experience the results of heavy in a lighter way, and continue your practice in this world.
The Constant Practice of Chanting
The skill of chanting must be cultivated diligently in your daily life. Regardless of what you encounter, you must hold onto the Buddha-name as if you were clinging to a lifeline. Do not let it break. Only by maintaining this constant focus during your ordinary days will you have the strength to summon the Buddha-name when you face the most critical moments of your life.
Please raise your spirits. You have personality traits that need to be changed, within your body waiting to be saved, and a spiritual path that must be completed. There are countless beings connected to you by karmic affinity who pervade the entire -realm and empty space. They are waiting in the darkness of this space for you to achieve success in your practice so that they may also be saved. As long as this physical body remains in this world, there is always an opportunity for all situations to be transformed.
Transforming to Save Others
You must transform your lethargy and weakness into the power of diligent practice. Focus your efforts on these essential tasks:
- Changing your personality traits to align with the Truth.
- Chanting the name of Namo Amituofo with sincerity.
- Performing prostrations to the Buddha to cultivate humility.
- Reciting the Sutras to purify your mind and spirit.
Even if your physical body is aging or suffering from illness, if you change your personality and accept spiritual healing, you can halt the progression of these conditions. By doing so, you can continue to make good use of this body to practise. This is the path of one who possesses true and Wisdom.
Rising Above Obstacles with Wisdom
Please raise your spirits. At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, you have the guidance of Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su. They are leading all of you forward on the path to removing defilements and attaining purity, resolving conflicts with your karmic creditors, and achieving Awakening to rediscover your true self. You should raise your Buddha-name at any time and, under the blessings of Namo Amituofo, continue to move forward.
Do not let the interference of other beings cause you to fall into a state of or enter into negative spaces. Do not let the slander, jealousy, or negative opinions of others cause you to retreat. You must possess the Wisdom to discern the truth. Each person has different strengths, different , and different levels of purification. Consequently, the abilities manifested on the path of practice will naturally differ.
If you are selfless and have no attachment to the ego, you will naturally rejoice in the progress of others and praise their achievements. If you find that your karma is manifesting and you are being obstructed by other beings, then, in addition to feeling remorse and repenting, you must raise your spirits. Overcome these challenges with even greater diligence. If you can successfully change your personality, you will surely achieve a great breakthrough. If your practice is successful, it will be a blessing for all beings in the human world and beyond.
Namo Amituofo.
