Rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss — Lay Practitioner Jiang Taide (Father of Lay Practitioner Jiang Yingshan)

Lay Practitioner Jiang Taide:

Yingshan, it is Dad. You are a sensible and good child, knowing to help Dad perform Chao Du. At this moment, I have already arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. You can rest assured, and everyone else can rest assured too. This place is far better than I had ever known or imagined. If there is one special thing that happened in my life, for me, it is being able to come to this place — the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

I used to know that this is where people want to go after they pass away, but now that it is my turn, I truly understand. Time really passes so quickly; a whole life has just gone by like that. Fortunately, you knew to help Dad perform Chao Du; otherwise, my drifting and unsettled heart at that time — a heart without a body — would not have known what would happen next or how the days would pass.

Namo Amituofo is truly so wonderful, because listening to Practitioner Su give Dharma talks at the temple previously allowed me to understand some principles that I had never heard before. It is just like a sentence I heard that touched me deeply: "Practising Buddhism allows one to not grow old, not get sick, and the spirit does not die, and to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss." I did not have the opportunity to attain not growing old or not getting sick, but the spirit does not die and being reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is exactly my current situation. These are experiences gained at the cost of life itself, and I believe they can only be heard here.

This place is exceptionally good, and Dad is extremely happy. I have been smiling continuously, smiling so much that I cannot close my mouth. How could there be such a wonderful place! No wonder I had heard people say before that after one passes away, one should go to the world of Namo Amituofo. Now that I am here, I hope that you all can be at ease and no longer worry about me. I believe that I am the most blessed.

Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is truly a wonderful place, and the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is even better. Thank you, Namo Amituofo, thank you, Practitioner Su, and thank you, Yingshan and Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.
