Yu Ying speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am deeply grateful to Namo Amituofo and to Practitioner Su. Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su have not only led me to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, but they have also granted me the opportunity to speak a few words to everyone here.
Greetings to you all, I am Yu Ying. I have only been in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss for a few hours, yet I already feel a profound sense of belonging, as if I have always been a part of this magnificent realm. Here, the Buddha watches over every single being with such infinite tenderness. There is no discrimination here; we all live together in this place, and it is truly a world of the Buddha—a world defined by such perfect equality and .
A Swift Transition to Ultimate Bliss
I am filled with such immense to have arrived here. When the master at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre asked me yesterday if I wished to be reborn in the Western Pure Land, I accepted without a moment's hesitation. I did not need to overthink it. Deep down, I knew that the ultimate destination for every spirit is this very place. Though I had heard of it while I was alive, the truth was never quite clear to me until now.
I am filled with such gratitude for the Chao Du I received. I owe so much to my family member, Lay Practitioner Liu Rong, who submitted my name. It was through her devotion that I was able to be guided by Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.
The Lingering Regrets of the Departed
After I passed away, I spent a long time in a state of utter confusion and agony. The spirit realm is not a pleasant place to be. It felt as though I were constantly waiting for a sentence to be passed, yet the trial had not even begun. I was acutely aware of the many karmic debts I had accumulated, and I spent that time in deep, sincere repentance for my shortcomings.
It seems many souls share this experience. We live our lives thinking we haven't done anything particularly wrong, drifting along smoothly, but once we look back at the human world from the other side, we realise how much we truly failed to do. Many spirits are just like me—filled with regret, desperately wishing to return to the past, but it is impossible. Our physical bodies have long since decayed.
The Truth of Illness and Personality
The spirit is truly indestructible, neither born nor dying. Yet, strangely, once I became a spirit, the things that once consumed my thoughts suddenly lost their importance. I don't know why, but after my spirit emerged, the physical agony vanished. It was replaced by a different kind of suffering—a profound, hollow loneliness, a sense of not knowing where to turn.
When we have a physical body, we are prone to all sorts of emotions and . I was no different. Whether I expressed my personality outwardly or kept it hidden, it was all the same. In fact, the personality we hide deep within our hearts is far more terrifying. Most people carry this burden. When I was alive, I fell ill without knowing the cause. It was only after I arrived at the and listened to Practitioner Su’s lectures that I understood: my illness was a direct result of my own stubborn personality.
This truth resonated so deeply within me. I listened with such joy, discovering that the secrets of the universe, as revealed in the Buddha’s teachings, are so incredibly profound. I never imagined that in this lifetime, I would encounter such a magnificent .
Transforming Emotional Ties into Dharma Affinity
Since arriving at the Western Dharma-Nature Land, I have been diligent in my practice every single day. Prostrations, chanting, and listening to the sutras have become my daily routine. I want my family who are still in the human world to rest assured and to feel happy for me. Thank you for making it possible for me to reach the West. Please, do not worry about me or dwell on my memory.
Only here have I truly felt the reality of our connections throughout many lives—everything is an illusion, fleeting and transient. I hope you will no longer be obsessed with the various emotions of the world, whether it is familial love, friendship, or romance. These are merely parts of our Causal Conditions.
You must help one another reach the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss; that is the only truly perfect ending. Transform all your emotional entanglements into Dharma affinity—that is how you truly achieve success for one another! This is why, while I was in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, I began to clear away the fog in my heart, arriving here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss with a pure, empty heart.
Most of those who arrived here with me are much the same. We all spent time purifying ourselves before we were ready to make this journey. This is a monumental turning point, a rare opportunity in life to encounter the Buddha and receive such deliverance.
I sincerely hope my family in the human world will work hard to adjust their personalities. Do not forget that if you perform your daily practice well, you will have greater certainty of rebirth in the Western Pure Land, and you will not have to suffer the pains of aging, sickness, and death. That is what a true practitioner of the Buddha’s teachings should do!
I hope you can all arrive here soon and live a life of true autonomy, just as I do now. to you all.
Namo Amituofo."
