Interview with Dr. Helmut Sohmen (Former Chairman of BW Group)
For ten kalpas, I have been building the of Ultimate Bliss. During this vast expanse of time, countless holy beings have attained Buddhahood within this sacred realm. Once they have achieved this supreme state, they do not remain idle. Instead, they travel throughout the Ten Directions of the Realm, the galaxies, and the vast emptiness to establish their own Buddha-lands. Their purpose is to propagate the Great Dharma of , assisting all beings in attaining Buddhahood, helping them in leaving suffering and gaining happiness, and guiding them to make the vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Therefore, the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is not merely a destination; it is the cradle of Buddhahood and the very place where one truly attains it.
There are many beings of the Western Land who, although they have not yet reached the Land of Eternally Quiescent Light, possess the ability to perceive the worldly realm, the Earth, and other distant lands. They look upon the beings with whom they share Causal Conditions, including their family members, teachers, and parents from countless past lives who are currently reincarnated and suffering within the cycle of rebirth. Moved by profound compassion, these beings make a solemn vow to descend into the world to save them. Some are able to fulfil their vow and return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss after their work is done. However, many others become lost. They are ensnared by the cycle of rebirth, the , , and the turbulent ocean of emotional attachments. While many have been saved and have returned to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, there are still many who have not yet found their way out—these are the wandering souls who have been unable to return home for many lifetimes.
On this occasion, I have come from the Western Land to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I am working alongside Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju and Practitioner Su to save all beings with whom we have a karmic connection. These connected beings are not gathered only at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. They are scattered throughout the universe, residing on various planets within the galaxies, and some have even inadvertently entered the Demon Realm, from which it is extremely difficult to escape. My arrival here is specifically to bring these wandering souls—who have forgotten their home—back to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This mission includes those who have fallen so deeply that they have become ancient demons, old demons, or even demon kings, demon children, and demon grandchildren.
My journey here is perfectly aligned with the vow of Practitioner Su to subdue demonic enemies, purify the Earth, and even pacify the demonic beings, heterodox paths, and strange demonic entities throughout the universe, the galaxies, and the heavens beyond the heavens. Within the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, when the Causal Conditions mature, these demon crowds will naturally be subdued and brought into the Western Land of Dharma Nature. This provides them with the opportunity to eventually return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Therefore, I urge all demon crowds to stop. Do not create any more negative , and especially, do not disturb Practitioner Su. By choosing to surrender or by entering the Western Land of Dharma Nature during the designated daily periods, you may gain the opportunity to return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss in the future.
There are also many wandering souls from the Western Land who have forgotten that they originally descended from the Western Land with a vow to save others. Through various channels, they will hear of my presence, or that of Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju or Practitioner Su in this world. By listening to our teachings or attending our lectures, their original aspiration will naturally be awakened. They will be drawn to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and become members of our salvation team. I hope that every one of these children will strive with diligent practice to reach the state of an awakened being and attain Buddhahood as soon as possible. This will ensure that your descent into this world and the suffering you have endured will not have been in vain. Once you understand the nature of suffering, you must be fiercely diligent, so that you may fulfil your wish to return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Namo Amituofo.
