The Vast Ocean of Perception

The vast ocean of existence is like waves crashing against the rocks, echoing with the grievances of the world. Some see the water stretching endlessly to meet the sky, while others see only the turbulence of the tide. These differ entirely depending on the state of the observer's heart. The ocean remains the same, yet the mind that views it has already created a world of discriminations.

My children, you have come to this human world more times than you can count. You have endured the cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death countless times over. When you were born, you arrived with cries of distress. As you aged, you faced the helplessness of a declining body. When sickness struck, the pain pierced your very heart. When death finally arrived, it marked the end of yet another life. You must ask yourselves: where do you go from here? Where is your heart amidst this vast ocean of karmic rebirth? You have wandered through these dreams of existence a thousand times over, searching for a meaning that remains elusive.

The Dream of the Six Realms

Throughout your accumulated lifetimes, you have tasted every flavour of experience—the sweet, the sour, the bitter, and the spicy. You have endured endless suffering and faced countless torments. Within the dream of samsara, caught in the cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death, you might wonder: is this all there is to life?

Consider the nature of the six realms of existence:

  • The Hells: Where suffering is absolute and extreme.
  • The Celestial Realms: Where celestial beings experience endless, temporary pleasures.
  • The Human Realm: Where we are caught in the uncertainty of our next destination.

You do not know which path you will take in your next life. What is the actual truth behind this existence? My children, life is not meant to be this way. The truth lies within the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. The six realms are merely a dream—a fleeting illusion. Within this dream, there are ten thousand forms and conditions. The emotions of , anger, sorrow, and happiness pierce through your heart, and even the pain of separation at death is but a momentary passing. None of it is truly real.
