The Illusion of Instant Success

Achieving success in your practice is not something that happens overnight. It is not a goal that can be reached through shortcuts or fleeting efforts. Walking with your feet firmly on the ground is an essential process that every practitioner must undergo. Moving forward with steadiness and stability is the fundamental condition for achieving true success in your practice.

In the current era, people are often caught in an environment that prioritises speed and efficiency above all else. Because of this, many have forgotten the value of walking step by step. They often underestimate the power of small, daily accumulations. Yet, it is precisely these small, consistent efforts that allow one to take a great leap forward on the path to .

The Power of Daily Purification

When it comes to your practice, every subtle change and every small act of purification you perform each day will eventually manifest as a beautiful landscape of a . This transformation begins within your own heart. To truly progress, you must cultivate the following:

  • Deep Faith:
  • Believe in yourself and believe in the infinite of Namo Amituofo.Internalisation:
  • When a concept, a teaching, or a single word truly enters your heart and you understand it, you must be willing to put it into action.Visible Practice: Let your actions reflect your understanding, for it is only through consistent action that you can withstand the storms and changes encountered on your journey.

Only by keeping your steps firm and steady can you reach the state of an awakened being and successfully attain the Buddha-land.

The Dangers of Impatience

If you seek to rush your practice, you will inevitably encounter obstacles. This is often because the laws of and cause and effect, as well as the Truth, have not yet been clearly understood. If you have not yet felt the suffering of other beings and have not yet made the vow to save the world and all beings, your heart will not be firm. Your practice will not be long-lasting.

When the heart is not steady, it is easily shaken by external changes. You may find yourself losing confidence in your own potential and in the Buddha. When this happens, it becomes very difficult to make any real progress. Therefore, you must learn to step firmly forward. By doing so, you will put in the work, and your practice will naturally lead to success.
