If you are a practitioner, you must move forward with a single-minded focus. When you encounter the right path, you should advance straightforwardly without hesitation. If you allow the words or actions of others to influence your practice, you are not acting as a wise person. You must maintain your clarity and resolve, regardless of the external circumstances that may attempt to pull you away from your goal.
When you encounter people, events, or scenes that cause your mind to fluctuate or stir up thoughts, you must be aware. Treat these situations with . By stopping the mind's fluctuations, you can ensure your practice moves forward without regression. You must be particularly mindful of the following triggers that often disturb your inner peace:
Continuous thinking attracts to manifest, which hinders your duties and causes your practice to regress. When you notice this, stop immediately. Do not let your thoughts wander. If you find yourself becoming drowsy or entering a state of confusion, you must realise that your unchanged personality is the main cause of these mind fluctuations. Precious time is lost this way, and your practice will regress rather than advance. You have been trapped in this cycle of personality manifestation for life after life. You have created countless causes and endured all the bitter fruits of your actions. Change your personality quickly; do not delay, for this is the only way to make progress in your practice.
Focus on things that benefit beings and help their spiritual progress. You should advance straightforwardly. When you chant the Holy Name "", you are planting a . Once it enters the ear, it becomes a seed for the Path forever. Even after aeons pass, this Vajra Seed will never be destroyed. Eventually, the seed will sprout, and you will surely be saved. Conversely, you must stop doing things that benefit yourself at the expense of others. Be cautious of your thoughts and actions when you are alone.
