The Endless Cycle of Suffering

On the seventh of April, 2019, during the third session of the , Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju shared profound teachings regarding the nature of our existence. Everywhere that sentient beings dwell, there is suffering to be found. Every moment we experience is filled with that inevitably lead to pain. Not a single moment passes where our physical body is free from this burden, as we are constantly influenced by the conditions of our past actions.

Even when we are asleep, before we have truly awakened, our come to seek their due. We toss and turn in the night, our thoughts tangled in a dense web of endless entanglement. We often find ourselves asking: when will we finally be able to let our body and mind find true peace? The reality is that this cycle of suffering never seems to have an end, for all these experiences are but illusory appearances that cloud our vision.

We must understand that the world we perceive through our is not the ultimate truth. When will we finally give birth to true understanding and reach the state of genuine awakening? To transcend this cycle, we must seek the state of no birth and no death—a state of pure, cool clarity that remains untouched by the chaos of the world. When we reach this state, our spirit becomes sharp, our awareness becomes keen, and all things in the universe become clear to us.

It is in this profound clarity that we finally see our true nature. In that moment of realisation, we understand that there is truly no birth and no death, only the eternal, luminous nature of the .
