The Boundless Reach of Dharma Body Deliverance
An Interview with Venerable Yongning
Recorded on May 25, 2018
Venerable Yongning, a monastic who sought deliverance through the compassionate guidance of Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, shares insights into the profound nature of deliverance. This testimony was recorded on May 25, 2018.
Venerable Yongning speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. The sacred name of Namo Amituofo resonates throughout the entire Realm and empty space. The Dharma Body of Practitioner Su manifests in countless billions of forms, reaching upward to save those at the level of Equal and downward to rescue those trapped in the deepest hells. There is not a single being within the ten directions that is not included in this deliverance. The sheer vastness of Practitioner Su's mind-capacity is something that ordinary people simply cannot fathom or imagine."
The Living History Beneath Our Feet
"Throughout history, every dynasty has left behind its own distinct space. Today, historians and archaeologists spend months, or even years, painstakingly excavating the ruins of the past. These remnants of lives once lived on this very land remain buried within the soil, stacked layer upon layer. Yet, these physical remains can no longer preserve the original appearance of those who lived then. Researchers can only piece together fragmented bones and artifacts to guess at their original forms and imagine the nature of their daily lives.
But do you realise that they all still truly exist within their own spaces, continuing to live out the lives they led during their time? If you possessed the ability to see, these vivid, real-time scenes would far surpass any relic unearthed by an archaeologist. To truly see them, to genuinely feel the depth of their suffering, and then to truly perform for them—this is the path to allowing them to finally break free from their past environments and seek rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss."
The Wisdom of Infinite Deliverance
"Every point of deliverance performed by Practitioner Su is executed using the most rapid and effective methods of visualisation. In the shortest, most efficient amount of time, the maximum number of sentient beings are helped. When Practitioner Su performs deliverance upon the clouds, it is not like the slow, drifting movement of individual clouds we see with our physical eyes. Instead, it is as if vast, endless seas of clouds are flying past, one after another. All the sentient beings residing upon these clouds are bathed in the illumination of the Buddha-light, and those with karmic affinity are naturally saved.
Consider the deliverance of the wind and the sand. Practitioner Su visualises the grains of sand as boundless and infinite. The Buddha-light sweeps across them once, and then again, clearing away layer upon layer, thousands and millions of layers, until all are cleansed. Those with karmic affinity are naturally saved. This is the manifestation of Practitioner Su's great Wisdom, and the reflection of Practitioner Su's immense mind-capacity and heart."
"This message was recorded by the chief writer, Buddhist disciple Shi Fajing."
